I'm quite new to DIY and only have a few TFA flavors at the moment. I am mostly a mild tobacco flavor fan... something that can be vaped all day. I'm looking to see what the community likes to vape with here. So far, I enjoy TFA's USA Blend at 5%. It's mild, a bit sweet but not chemical or perfumy.
Just looking for some more ideas.
I like bold tobaccos but I've stumbled on several decent milder flavors too.
TFA M-Type is pretty mild and not too bad by itself at 5 - 7 %.
Hangsen RY1 & RY3 are pretty mild too, as is Hangsen Cigar.
That's a shitload of M-Type if you ask me. That stuff is not mild at all in my opinion lol.
Hrmm... i have it and I can't seem to like it even though I do appreciate bold tobaccos. How long are you steeping it? I might give it a go again at 5% and steep it for awhile.
I'm sold entirely on FLV Flue-Cured. Virginia from them is amazing too, but Flue-Cured is just a bit more deliciously complex. Their flavors are designed by Mother Murphy's, who are a legend in flavorings for tobacco, so I guess it shouldn't be a surprise they make amazing tobacco flavorings.
INW also has some really good tobaccos.
can't seem to find FLV Flue-cured. got a site or at least a name for the manufacturer? Is this the one you are talking about? http://www.ecigsplus.com/tobacco-flavorings-c-54_92/flue-cured-tobacco-concentrated-flavoring-p-369.html
What % do you mix it at... 5%?
Flavorah Flue-Cured Tobacco. http://www.flavorah.com. They sell their single 15mL flavors for $5.99 on ebay, IIRC, but the way to go is order a 7-flavor multipack from them and use the "reddit+" code to get another multipack free. You get 14 bottles (plus usually freebies) for $35 shipped, which is like $2.50 a bottle.
I usually mix the Flue-Cured at 3-5%. Flavorah stuff is highly-concentrated. There's been reviews of nearly all their flavors posted by /u/redruffensore here recently if you search for them.
FA Virginia + FA Peach = the 300ml jar next to me that can never stay full
What percentage do you use for each flavor?
2% Virginia, 1-2% Peach depending on how sweet you like it. FA White Peach is also very good
INW's AM4A is pretty cool, solid pipe tobacco. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention TE/FE's Black Mile Plus as well as TFA's Black Honey Tobacco.
I just ordered some Am4a. Do you have a recipe you use or any recommendations and tips? I've never tried making any tobaccos until now as I've been craving cigs and getting sick of sweet fruity and dessert flavors.
i like it at 2%, which is actually kind of high. it's also very good at 1%. goes good with a little bit of TA (like 0.25-0.5%) too.
it's not AM4A, but i also have this recipe which is a very dry, yet slightly sweet tobacco flavor. i wouldn't go out of my way to get the ingredients though. for example, the FA Tuscan is very difficult to work with, and the recipe would probably be fine without it.
