Hi guys,
Figured I would start sharing some of my own creations, see what people think.
First one, I call Blue Grenade. It's my favorite so far, I can vape this for hours and not get tired of it:
30ml batch.
-
TFA Pomegranate 5%
-
TFA Blueberry Extra 5%
-
TFA Vanilla Bean Gelato 4%
-
TFA Sweet Cream 2%
-
TFA Raspberry Sweet 2%
-
6% Nude Nicotine 100% VG 100mg at 6mg. Max VG, no extra PG added.
Added 6 drops of Sucralose on top of the batch (FE 30ml bottle)
The goal was to get a mix of a berry - ish blueberry pom that mixes the two together rather than have one overpower the other, it works quite well for the goal intended. I also love sweet juices, so bring on the sweetener! Great as is after a 8 hour hot bath steep, gets even better with time.
Next up is Borange. I wanted a milder banana vape, after getting sick of Nana Cream (big props to Fizz and Bombie!) So i threw this mix together last night:
30ml Batch.
- TFA Strawberry 6%
- FA Orange 4%
- CAP Sweet Tangerine 3%
- TFA Whipped Cream 3%
- TFA Vanilla Bean Gelato 2%
- LA Banana Cream 1%
- 6% Nude Nicotine 100% VG 100mg at 6mg. Max VG, no extra PG added.
Added 8 drops of Sucralose on top of the batch (FE 30ml bottle)
Shake and vape after a hot tube joyride and this is pretty darn tasty. Its a very mild banana, I find LA BC tends to overwhelm most anything I throw at it, but this is a very smooth vape.
Let me know what you guys think. Additions / Detraction's, anything is fair game, I love input!
It should be noted, that my taste buds are way forked up after smoking for so long, and that I do require strong flavoring to even taste things, so the % could probably be brought down a b it.
Great looking recipes. Appreciate the share. Don't forget to post the in either last months or this months (when it appears) Recipe Thread. (It's the 1st of April already where I am).
Anyone who has both Vanilla Bean Gelato and Vanilla Swirl- Are they at all comparable? I'm going to give it a try, but I don't have any Vanilla Bean Gelato on the shelves.
I have both, and I don't think they are very alike personally. Hard to explain what the difference is but, I think they are standalone flavors. But hey, try to sub it, it might work even better! It's all about trying new things right.
Going to try this and let it steep for a week before vaping;

Very interesting looking recipe!
I have a quick question though... I'm just starting to get into DIY so my math isn't 100% yet, but looking at this recipe, wouldn't the final mix be 3mg/ml instead of 6mg? My understanding is as follows:
3% of 30ml is 0.9ml
100mg x 0.9 = 90mg total nicotine in the bottle
90mg / 30ml = 3mg per ml
Am I messing up a step with my math or understanding of how this works, or is your recipe really for a 3mg juice instead of a 6mg juice?
Edit: I had originally said "very interesting recipe, though I'm not very interested to try try it!". While I was doing my calculations I was going back and forth between this recipe and the "Flintstones vitamins" recipe a few posts below this one. In case you saw my original unedited response, I wanted to ensure you that I had confused yours with the vitamin recipe, but that these do indeed look tasty! :)
Haha no worries mate. And yes, you are absolutely right, I just noticed i put 3mg in my calc instead of 6, but I always mix the same, so i just automatically know how much nic i need for 6mg and I don't really look at the recipe for that, good looking out! edited.
Awesome, yeah I figured it was more than likely some kind of typo, I just want to make sure I've got the calculations figured out! My first order of flavors and supplies gets here in a day or two, and I'm just pouring over everything I can find to make sure I've got a good grip on things for when I get started.
where to get Sucralose?
