Millions of years ago, or one year ago; whichever came first, I discovered that for some odd reason, Blueberry Candy from TPA tasted pretty much universally like that cheap fake blueberry taste you get off of 80% of things flavored "blueberry" in candy form.
It just is. Same chemical, all that jazz. If you turned a box of captain crunch on its side and gave it a read, you would probably find it there. It's everywhere. It's in everything from muffins to oatmeal to eggo waffles. They put that shit in everything and color it blue.
The downside is that the solution itself just happens to be rather harsh at high mixtures. I believe it's suspended in alcohol and possibly very acidic. I've heard people have issues with it in tanks. I googled it. It said so.
Either way. If you're hip with the Blueberry Candy, try this one out.
All Flavors are TPA (because Goss is a cheap shit and buys all of his stuff in the same store)
7% Rice Crunchies
5% Blueberry Candy << There are two versions of this. One is in Triacetin. The other is in PG... please... for the love of all that is holy, buy the one in PG.
warning you, bro. Triacetin will create little oil pockets in your juice... fuck that noise.
2% Dairy / Milk (contains Acetyl Propionyl and Acetoin in place of Diacetyl. If that bugs you then... well, don't make Booberry Cereal. It's in every dairy/custard/pie/cookie/graham/dealwithit.)
Sweeten accustomed to your own preferences. I prefer it unsweetened. Extracts are sweet as-is.
Play with that last one. Do play. It changes the flavor up a lot. You can add marshmallow instead to it to make it sort of like a blueberry rice crispie treat or add custard, pie crust or vanilla cupcake to make it more like a cake or muffin.
BUT I WANT MORE BLUEBERRY YOU FUCK
Then use blueberry wild with blueberry candy. I'm warning you. Don't use more than 5% of that shit or it will make your tanks act weird and vape funny.
Stuff is good bruh. Tell your friends you got Booberry cereal in your vape.
If you want more blueberry, FA Bilberry in 1-3% is the ticket for sure. This recipe sounds tasty. Post it in the monthly recipes thread!
I need to pick up one of everyone's blueberry. It's basically one of the only fruit flavors that I will vape all day... the other being banana.
Sadly, it's a tough one to get right for whatever reason. I'm really hoping /u/Flavorah will release their blueberry to the public soon, because /u/kirkt said it was fantastic, and if it's as good as he says, it could supplant my reliance on TFA Blueberry Wild + FA Bilberry w/ a splash of TFA Blueberry Extra where required. And that would be most useful.
I really like lorann's blueberry candy flavor. It too tastes like everything with a cartoon blueberry on the label, and even though is too is mixed with alcohol because you can vape it right away. It's one flavor that doesn't really change at all with steeping. Try it out.
Righteous, now I need to buy all those ingredients >.>
Someone could really rack up some cash selling just about all of TPA's flavorings in one big "start me up" kit for noobies or anyone wanting to expand their flavor library.
Fuck, I'd buy it.
IIRC, there are starter kits that include xyz-number of flavors that you get to pick.
You could also probably do well by selling flavorings in cross-vendor multipacks targeted for one flavor profile ("custards", "berries", "creams", "desserts", etc).
Or vendors should at least have that as a sorting option on their websites.
I need a way to make this without the rice crunchies. I tried fruit circles, and berry crunch, hated them, so I didn't even give that one a shot :(
booberry is my fucking steez.
I like rice crunchies. It allows you to apply your own flavorings to make your own cereal instead of starting with something pre-flavored with berries or fruit. It's easy to make cinnamon toast crunch with as well. FW Cinnamon Roll is bomb for that.
To make the CTC, what percentages of Rice Crunchies and Cinnamon Roll would you use? Do you personally add any other flavors to it?
Their cinnamon roll doesn't really change that much at higher mixes. It doesn't get per fumy, it just gets hallaciously strong and it's stong as-is. I'd suggest 5% first and move up if you want. Cinnamon can run rampant in a juice and take over the flavor if you aren't careful.
I'm new to the whole DIY juice thing but is it fairly common to add milk to your juice?
Yes, if by "add milk" you mean add artificial dairy type flavoring than yes. Any dairy type flavor, whipped cream, Sweet cream, vanilla custard, can mean the difference between a juice that's just meh and something that's absolutely mind blowingly good. Dairy flavors have the same all around flavor enhancing properties for ejuice that butter has for real food.
What dairy/milk flavor did you use?
That is the flavor I used. I can't find it on their website, though. I can't find it on vendor websites, though... that's odd. I got it from a local vendor to me who sells TPA flavorings. Maybe it's discontinued? I hope not.
Just whipped up 15mL of this after getting the ingredients I needed today. Going to eat my steak and will report back. It smells promising.
Reporting back. I definitely like it! I actually haven't used any of these flavors before, and I'm really digging the Rice Crunchies element. I'm thinking that adding a little hit of FA Meringue will add a sugary coating flavor, hopefully without over-sweetening.
"BUT I WANT MORE BLUEBERRY YOU FUCK Then use blueberry wild with blueberry candy. I'm warning you. Don't use more than 5% of that shit or it will make your tanks act weird and vape funny." Do you mean don't use over 5% of the wild or the candy--or total? (I have only FLV Blueberry and FA Bilberry - I've never used either TFA flavor)
Hey Goss. Love your Open PV work and all you've given to the vaping world. Happp to see you in the juice community!
Thanks! I love DIY. In that I don't have to dedicate an entire day to creating something. I can fiddle with an alter creations over time unlike modding where everything is planned out, DIY is more of an evolution of the person's creation rather than a final result. I dig that shit.
