Pretty shitty, but they've been a hell of a lot more decent about it than some of the other companies I've come across. Just letting you guys know to avoid stripe.
Seems like Authorize.net is the best choice right now for vendors. They have a nice set of API's at least.
Authorize.net is a gateway, not a merchant bank. Gateways don't care what you sell, they just bill for bandwidth and CPU time. Merchant banks are the ones who handle the money, and decide what they will, or will not allow.
Stripe, who processes for Shopify, has never allowed e-cig sales.
Stripe is just Wells Fargo.

FYI, Authorize.net is the same way and has been for years, as long as you don't tell them you're selling e-cig merchandise they seem to not actively check, but if you are reported it will be messy as they freeze accounts immediately and take forever to sort.
EDIT: Although the new Terms of Service published this year doesn't mention it specifically, it no longer specifies tobacco either, so I'm not sure if the rules have changed but as of October of last year they were still in effect,
Nicotine isn't mentioned on their list. Unless a vendor is saying a vape will 100% absolutely make you quit smoking, I don't see how they fall onto that list at all without some sort of mental gymnastics.
That said, DIY supplies certainly don't seem to fall into that list. I smell bullshit.

I'd be more likely to spend at a vendor that takes this as form of payment.
If Stripe doesn't want to play ball I'm sure BitPay and Coinbase can step in here!
