I've been trying to create a more milky, sweet, cereal flavor. Cereal Killa minus the lemon, and more milk. But trying to create a cereal vape is becoming too much of an annoyance more than anything. And now I know why. Those two flavors do not allow for a good cereal. Fruit Circles becomes a lemon pledge at anything more than 2% and takes away from any other flavors you add into it. So I scrapped that and tried to use Berry Crunch and found that, while it's close, it doesn't quite hit the mark. It's almost as if the berry is a natural berry thrown on top of rice crispies, There was just no way I was hitting that cereal flavor I wanted with those flavors so I started looking elsewhere. I think the Yellow Cake might hit that note added with some AP. Then a meringue, sweet cream, marshmallow medley to base, which by itself is a nice sweet milk vape. Added with a small percentage of harvest berry might give me what I want. I'll report back with my findings.
That being said, I've tried almost all the Cereal Flavors from the premiums and haven't necessarily found what I want. There was a time where Cereal Killa used to be the shit, it was fucking delicious, but I believe they changed the formula to take away the diketones and now It's just a lemony chemical flavor to me. I heard Breakfast at Teleos, The Milk is what I'm looking for so I'm gonna order some and try it out and then try to clone it.
I don't think that's necessarily true -- I make a really damn good recipe that includes both those flavors, used in extreme moderation (<25% of the total flavoring percentage) and with another 9 flavors on top, but the rest of your post is great info. Thanks for contributing!
Maybe I'm just one of those that can't get past that lemon on FC. Some people love it and think it's a great flavor. The last time I mixed it was with a 10+ recipe at 1.5% and it came through just enough to give that citrus but not overpowering, but after the steep it left just a weird chemical flavor. I think I'm just going to find a mix of citrus myself through other flavors cause this one just aint workin with me. ILU btw =)
Nope. I dumped a couple of batches that used FC. No matter what I did, I couldn't get past the lemon pledge taste. It's disgusting.
Berry crunch on the other hand. Here's my recipe. It doens't have that "Milk in the bowl" taste, which I wasn't looking for. This is more, those first few crunchy bites taste.
All TFA, 70/30 (VG/PG)
6% Berry Crunch
2% Strawberry Ripe
1% vanilla bean gelato
.5% cherry extract
.5% orange cream
It's my current ADV.
Hey so I know this response is pretty late but I toyed around with this recipe you posted and came up with something slightly similar but adapted to fit my collection of flavors. I obviously can't compare it to yours but it is probably one of the closest recipes I have made to the cereal itself:
6% Berry Crunch
3% Strawberries and Cream
1% Vanilla Cupcake
.5% Cherry Extract
.5% Orange Cream
I literally just made an vaped it and it tastes promising but I am going to steep it before vaping it further to hopefully get the fruit and creams to blend better which is the only issue I found so far other than missing a little bit of the "crunch" which seems notoriously evasive for cereal juices!
Thanks!
Interesting. I haven't gotten into the cereal vapes yet, but planned on it.
What was the best milk base you've found so far?
Milkstone, or /u/Botboy141's vanilla base, if you're looking to custom-mix something. I'm not sure he posted that vanilla base here, it was on VU though.
If you're not looking to go at it that hard, I like combining FA Cream Fresh w/ TFA Bavarian Cream and a touch of FW Hazelnut for cereal milk bases. It works like a charm.
The best milk base I've found is the one I stated. FA Meringue, TFA Sweet Cream, TFA Marshmallow, Sweetner. Percentages are based on what you want. More cream and less sweet bump up the SC. Vice Versa. You can also add 0.5% TFA Coconut Extra to smooth it out, but I never do
I'm starting to get into the Unicorn Milk clones. Yeah, I'm not a hipster, I'm behind just enough to be cool. Some of the flavors there seem to be ok, just need some sharpening up for a cereal...
There's a super popular UM recipe out there that I found to be even better than the original, and after I played with it for sometime I made it even better than that...to me obviously. I forget which one and who made it exactly, but I do remember it was on this forum. I think once you see it you'll know that's the one because it has a bunch of upvotes and comments on it saying how close and how good it is. Sorry for being a little too vague but that all I can do right now haha. Hope that helps!
There is a crunch berries recipe floating around somewhere here and it taste exactly like crunch berries with milk. Exactly like covals crunch berries if you've had it. The main flavor used is strawberry ripe and cheesecake graham crust. I'm still steeping a fruit circles/berry crunch recipe but if don't see it getting any better, fruit circles has a really odd taste to me. Definitely report back your findings!
don't go over 5% on fruit circles, or 25% total of your flavors. that is my rule of thumb for not ruining recipes with it. it's a great flavor if used judiciously.
Interesting. The recipe that I made with it says 7% of fruit circles. I believe you said you liked the recipe! The "tongue fuck" recipe. So you think I should drop fruit circles down and keep everything else the same? Either way thanks for the input!
Tonguefuck is probably the best Fruit Circles recipe I've seen posted here. It's a very good recipe, and a solid starting point. I've noticed, however, that Fruit Circles is one of those flavors that everyone perceives differently, and in Tonguefuck at 7%, some people find it chemical/Lemon Pledge-y, while others find it decent and enjoyable (like I do). I make and sell a complex cereal flavor (10+ ingredients), and as I mentioned before, I use Fruit Circles + Berry Crunch in it, but at a combined percentage of ~25% of the recipe's total flavoring. This gets the effect they offer as a baseline, but builds upon it using other flavorings that some people don't find off-putting. However, I still fully endorse /u/tet5uo's recipe and I do think it's good. I still recommend people who are chasing the cereal vape dragon give it a go for sure. If nothing else, it's a decent base to work off. Hope that helps.
Which recipe? That's my fav cereal vape and I've tried (I thought) all of the ones floating around here.
Mine too. And this is the one. If you tried it and didn't think it was close I'd be surprised because it taste almost spot on to me. It also calls for .75% A.P but I didn't have it and it turned out just fine!
•8% TFA Strawberry Ripe
•6% TFA Bavarian Cream
•5% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
•2% TFA Vanilla Swirl
•1% Ethyl Maltol (10% Solution)
Breakfast at Teleos, The Milk is SO good. I've been rocking it the past week or so and can't get enough. It's got a slight citrus at the end but not too much. It's a great juice.
I'm not great at mixing myself so I look forward to if you successfully clone it cause I'd love a starting point to tweak my own version.
Have you tried the cereal killa clone on here? There are 2 different versions. Also, maybe dulce de leche for a milky base? I haven't really gotten into them myself yet. I do have fruit circles and berry crunch though. I know what you mean. They're very strong and overpowering. I'm thinking of trying it with captain crunch from FW since it's much more mellow. Maybe a mix with that and leche would work. I might try it today.
I make my crunch berries with TFA Cheesecake (Graham Crust) for the cereal note. To this I would add Strawberry Ripe (TFA) or Strawberries and Cream (CAP), maybe Blueberry wild (TFA), and Sweet Cream (I use both TFA and Capella's) I also throw in ~1% CAP coconut (don't use TFA for this one or it will actually taste like coconut, you just want it for the smoothness factor). The percentages can vary, which is why I didn't post them - I'm still screwing around with this one. But to me this produces a significantly better Crunch Berry than any other flavour combo I've tried.
This thread has my attention! Lots of great ideas from your op and all kinds of great info in the replies. Do tell what you think about The Milk when you get it; its one of my favorites and one of my first planned projects to attempt once all my gear shows up in the next couple days!
Makes me think they were using FA panattone or pandoro in ck. Was trying my damndest to recreate it when it was in its prime, and those two may have fit in (but they contain diacytle) sadly never got to it. Everyone says the clone that's out there now (which me and u/kriga supplied many of the main flavors for) is spot on, but it isnt.
If you are looking to work together I would mind jumping back in the saddle.
Alright there are lot of comments on here so idk if anyone else has said this but tongue fuck is much better than the milk by teleos IMO. But teleos is definitely using at least 1% vanilla custard from CA in both the milk and breakfast at teleos. Ive gotten almost spot on with the crunch berries one. Im really not a fan or their milk but I know they're using a very small amount of tfa fruit circles (1-2%) and vanilla custard. That should be a good starting point for you. The key to fruit circles is using small amounts and letting it steep. But i can garauntee that tfa fruit circles is some where in that recipe, its just very light and the custard takes the edge off the lemon
Teleos the milk is the best cereal vape EVER!!!! But 22$ for 30ml only got me trying to clone it! It's GATTa be complex. I think these companies are using something else besides what we can get our hands on tfa ect... I'm ganna try to make them as well. Got FC,berry crunch and a bunch others on the way! I'll let you know how it goes!
Has anyone made any progress on this? The Milk is still my absolute favorite eliquid to date.. i am so picky when it comes to juices, only end up liking 1 out of 15-20 or so i try, this one is just mouthwatering good lol.. but yeah the milk budget is similar to a drug habit cost wise, hoping Enyawreklaw has cloned it or made something similar, btw love your YT channel, has been of great help.. a decent the milk clone would make my year or maybe my life!
