Flavorah Recipes
submitted over 10 years ago by kirktBring on the Diacetyl, baby

I've been playing around with Flavorah concentrates for a few weeks now and have been very, very impressed with them. They are very strong, about twice as concentrated as I'm used to from TFA or Capella. But more than that, in most cases they are the best example of their kind that I've tried. The blueberry is the best straight blueberry I've ever tried, and the same can be said for their Vanilla Custard, Orange Citrus, Coffee, etc.

I've kind of been struggling with this post for two reasons. The first is that Flavorah doesn't have a complete flavoring line (e.g., no "cream"), so in some recipes you will see non-Flavorah ingredients. I wanted to do an exclusive Flavorah-only post like we have for TFA etc. in the sidebar, and perhaps that thread will be created soon. The second reason is that many of these recipes are seemingly too simple. Flavorah Blueberry at 5% isn't very creative, but it's a damn fine vape. I wondered whether to post these, and in the end decided I'd put up some of the best single-flavor recipes if for no other reason than to show how impressed I am with them. It also allows some of you who are hesitant to get a couple of flavors that I believe are worthy additions to your mixing palette.

Mandatory Disclaimer: Flavorah sent /u/Botboy141 and me free sample packs, but we are in no way otherwise compensated for posting these recipes & reviews. If they had sucked, I'd let you know. They don't suck. I have however posted a couple reviews of some flavors I didn't care for.

Disclaimer 2: I like strong vapes, stronger than most people prefer. When mixing these, It might be wise to start out at half of the strength and work up to a level you like. What's posted below is MY preferred blend. On to the recipes....

##Vanillah Custard##

Vanilla Custard FLV @5%

That's it, and it's hands-down the best vanilla custard vape I've ever tasted. If you are ordering from FLV and enjoy custards, you have to try this. It's great by itself, but I've also enjoyed it by dropping the Custard down to 4% and adding one of these:

  • Orange Citrus FLV @ 0.5%
  • Lemon TFA @ 0.5%
  • Coconut FLV @ 0.3%

##Cuppah Coffee - Black##

Coffee FLV @ 4%
Smooth TFA @ 0.5%
Mocha TFA @ 0.5%
MTS Vape Wizard FA @ 0.3%

FLV Coffee is the best coffee flavor I've worked with. It's good by itself at 4%, but for me it was more like smelling a cup of coffee than drinking one. I found these additions gave it a more rounded taste and improved the profile.

##Cuppah Coffee - Cream & Sugar##

Coffee FLV @ 4%
Whipped Cream TFA @7%
EM (10%) @2% (1 drop / 10ml)
Smooth TFA @ 0.3%

I drink black coffee but had a request for this from a friend, so it might not taste like you mix your coffee, but it was well received. I tried FA Fresh Cream, TFA Dairy Milk, Malted Milk, and a few others, but the whipped cream tasted the most like coffee cream to me. It adds some sweetness so only a drop of EM was needed IMO. I'm working on an Irish Coffee blend but can't get the right whisky taste from a single whisky, so my next step is blending some of the better ones (suggestions would be appreciated). I'm sure some of you Starbucks fans can work with this base to mix up a good triple-pumpkin-spice-latte concoction.

##Alligatah##

Blueberry FLV @ 3%
Orange Citrus FLV @ 1%

The blueberry is delicious by itself at 3-5%. I'm also a big fan of the Orange Citrus - tastes just like a fresh juicy orange. I've vaped both as standalones for a while, and one day decided to try this blend. I think it's a hit.

##Guavah##

Pink Guava FLV @ %5
EM (10%) @ 3%

The guava is nice by itself - to me it's grapefruit, but TBH I'm not familiar with what guava tastes like. I vaped 10ml of the Guava by itself @ 5%, but it's a bit harsh, and after a good lung hit I usually got a good cough as well. Like real grapefruit, this one benefits from a little sweetener to balance it out. I've also used some TFA smooth, but that removes all the throat hit that makes this flavor special. I'm working on a blend with this and FLV Cantelope as well, will update once I've got it down.

##Other Single Flavor Mixes##

  • Blueberry FLV @ 5%

So. Damn. Good. I've been searching for a long time for the best straight-up blueberry, and this is it. *Edit - this is best right out of the gate. If you cure with heat (as I do), it loses something. Mix and vape is the way to go.

  • Tropical Citrus FLV @ 5%

This is a really nice, rounded blend.

  • Creme de Menthe FLV @ 3%

I'm not a huge fan of minty vapes, but if you like Andes Mint Candy, you will love this blend.

I've got bottles of Watermelon, Strawberry, and Peach mixed @ 5% which I'm curing now. I didn't love any of them fresh, so I will update with results once they've had some time to mature.

A couple flavors I was not a fan of:

  • Banana

To me this was more of a Runtz / Gros Michel type banana flavor than a Cavendish banana flavor. Very perfumey.

  • Black Cherry

Also very candy-like, and VERY potent.

Sorry to everyone about not putting blueberry up for sale yet... It is NOT the same as Blueberry Muffin (which is part of the multipacks). I will release blueberry this week, but I think I slipped one to /u/kirkt without thinking of it. SO, if you bought a multipack or the full line of concentrated ejuice flavor after seeing this post and were hoping you would get blueberry, you will need to do this: Forward me your paypal email receipt to service @ Flavorah and say you were looking for a blueberry sample. I'll get it out to you when it goes up later this week.

...and then standby for some other goodies to start rounding out the line over the next couple months.

I'm assuming when you say Blueberry you mean Blueberry, and not Blueberry Muffin. For some reason Blueberry is listed in the density list but not the flavor list nor in any of the flavor packs. Any idea what's up with that?

Yes, straight Blueberry, not muffin. I haven't tried that one yet.

As for the absence... paging user /u/flavorah. It's a new site and there may be kinks to be worked out.

You are apparently the only one who got Blueberry lol. I got all 21 flavors and I didn't get blueberry. I too have been searching for a long time, and settled on 3:1 TFA Blueberry Wild/FA Bilberry mix for the best I could get. Now I'm mad! =P

What do you think of the FA Bilberry? I ordered it last week and I'm so thrilled to try it as I've only heard positive things about it.

If you like custard vapes, try this one out. Been loving it.

5% vanilla custard FLV

3% vanilla custard CAP

2.5% Flue Cured tobacco FLV

2% Graham cracker CAP

1.5% toasted marshmallow TFA

.5 % coconut candy TFA

Been vaping the shit out of this. Nice and sweet with a tobacco kick that i was having a hard time getting from other tobacco flavors until flue cured from flavorah.

Oooh, I like this idea a lot. Gonna have to sub in a dash of FA/FLV Coconut or TFA Coconut Extra (aka Suntan oil), but I've got the rest of these babies on hand. Edit, oh and TFA Graham Cracker (Clear).

The FLV coconut would probably be better than the extra. The reason i used coconut candy was for the Richer pastry feeling but FLV coconut also has the same bakery taste to it

Thanks for the info! I've got a bunch of their flavors and will hopefully get a chance for another mixing session in the next week or so.

Unfortunately, the blueberry isn't available on their site :( That definitely would've been one of the flavors I ordered but it looks like you're the only one who got some :(

If you've got Custard, my guess is you'll be placing another order soon. Should be fixed by then.

Re whiskey: i like FA. Only one I've tried though.

FA's alcohol line is the tits. You can literally make a full-service bar (and HIC on VU actually did).

LOL. I ordered two bottles of the custard so I think I'll be set for while :)

For that irish coffee you're working on, FA's Irish Cream isn't whiskey enough for it?

I appreciate the almost bawstonian spelling of these! Definitely screen shotting them. I'm just getting started into DIY and posts like this get me excited.

Here's the recipe I shared in my Flavorah shoutout/pre-review. I'm adding it here on the assumption this is going to become the Flavorah Recipes thread, or it's the beginnings of one at least. I wanted to be the guy who kicked it off, but I've been busy so I'll just add this here for now:

Flavanillah Custard Crumble:

  • FLV Vanilla Custard - 5-6%

  • TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie - 4%

  • TFA Dulce de Leche - 1%

  • TFA Vanilla Swirl - 2%

  • TFA Graham Cracker Clear - 1%

Here's my first Flavorah recipe. Anyone feel free to tweak it as it is only a first rendition, but I think its a good start. Peachy Custard:

• FLV Peach 4%

• FLV Vanilla Custard 2.5%

• FLV Coconut 0.5%

Looks delicious!

Thanks, let me know what you think if you try it out. ~I'm going to mess with some more cream bases for it when I get my bulk order tomorrow, so any opinions/variations are appreciated.

Thanks for the info.

Anyone have a recommended secondary flavor for Pink Guava?

Its good by itself, but seems like it would be better with something else. Only had the real fruit a few times, not sure what its usually mixed with.

I'm working on a Pink Guava and Cantaloupe mix. Think it will be a good pairing but haven't had much time to work on it. Both FLV.

I did a 70/30 mix with

4% Blueberry 2% Cantaloupe

I made it at 2mg because in my testers I like a little nicotine. I'm usually at a 3mg.

OH MAN THAT WAS A THROAT HIT. I don't know why, but this mix gave a killer throat hit. anyone else notice this with any FLV flavors?
