Anyone interested in the recipes? I'm hardly a pro, I've just been spending weeks on these flavors to find the perfect mix.
You should definately post them in the March Recipe Thread.
Hate to have to question your manhood, but there is mustache wax, and beard balm. No beard wax.
I was trying to play off the irony. I have a hipster friend who uses both, and drinks "bourbon and coke, with a lime."
Shouldn't it be Custards last Stand?
how is your beard wax? care to share the recipe? i just did a tester of something similar and hated it. ginger is so funky to work with, tastes more like straight ginger... would make a nice sushi vape.
I'm going from memory here, I don't have my notes handy:
30 ml - 7% TFA Kentucky Bourbon 6% LA Bourbon 4% FA Cold Pressed Lime 4% TFA Ginger Ale 4 drops TFA Smooth
The Ginger ale actually mixes nice, after some trial and error I had to scale it back and it takes about a week to really shine. I fiddled with the bourbon/Kentucky Bourbon ratio, even just using one of the two, but the blend here seems to get the most realistic bourbon flavor.
nice, i like the LA bourbon better just tasting but have been mixing those two.
mine is [v0.0.1, not even close to good, WIP]
TFA Kentucky Bourbon 1.5%
LA Bourbon 3%
TFA Ginger Ale 0.5%
... it's when i added green apple [3%]+cinnamon [0.5%]+clove[0.5%] it turned south, ordered Apple Granny Smith to sub. also ordered Champagne [LA and TFA] to try and get some "fizz".
going to mix up the bourbon ginger like you have and bag the apple part and give it a try. let me know if you get a chance to check your notes.
Saying Kentucky bourbon is like saying Scottish scotch. I should send tfa a strongly worded letter like you wouldn't believe
i do like this bourbon ratio, just mixed it up sans lime as a small test batch. probably will play around with the champagne i have on order when it comes in to try and get a bit of fizz, also will so a separate tester with the granny smith apple as well. ill be dripping this over the next few weeks and see how it cures.
How bout that custards last straw recipe?
9% TFA Strawberry Ripe
10% Cap Vanilla Custard
2% TFA French Vanilla
1% FA Tahitian Lemon
1 drop TFA smooth per 3-4 ML
This might need a touch more lemon to make the strawberry pop - or maybe a ripe raspberry instead. I didn't have raspberry on hand right now, and I'm happy with it other than, as with most custards, the strawberry seems muted.
