Our goal was to create a good guide for someone ordering their first flavors: stand-alone classics and great mixers combined. After about a week of submissions and voting, the results have been tallied and posted in our Wiki.
In addition to the "Top 20" overall, I've also listed some "Top" lists for the bigger suppliers (TFA, CAP, FA) in case the supplier you're ordering from only sells one or two lines.
SUPPLIERS: If you want to offer a "Reddit Top 10 First Order Pack" or whatever you call it, we will link it in the Wiki. The idea is that the new mixer can visit your site, click one button, and get some good flavors without a lot of hassle. If you want to make it a starter pack and include PG, VG, syringes, bottles, etc. this will be indicated in the wiki (you can offer both starter and flavor-only kits if you like). PM me with a link to your kit and I'll add it to the wiki.
If you think your favorite vendor should be a part of this, let them know about this post.
The voting post was here - don't bother with new submissions or votes as they won't be counted.
I'm only going to hog the sticky for a couple days with this, the link is in the sidebar and hopefully whenever someone posts a "help me with my first order" the first and most upvoted response will be the link to this wiki entry.
Thanks to everyone who participated.
So I talked to TFA about this, and I think I convinced them to assemble a flavor pack based upon these results. Once they get everything set up, I'll post a link to it for the Wiki.
Just FYI... I use RES with night mode (hate blinding white screens) and the tables are showing as empty. I had to highlight the cells to see anything in there.
Just thought I'd mention it before somebody complains about missing information. :P
This is awesome. Thanks so much for putting it together. I remember buying TFA Honey on my first go round. Maybe the next endeavour should be a Top Shittiest flavors list.
Funny, TFA honey is the ONLY flavor I use of theirs. The only PG flavor base I use, period.
How cool? I love how its so subjective. What percentage do you use it at? I thought about diluting it with pg, i just wasn't able to get a honey taste from it.
I use a tiny drop and it's enough.
I would make my own honey flavor but TFA honey is primarily phenylacetic acid which not only is a horrifying smelling aroma molecule but also a controlled substance.
I can't even source the stuff. It is a disgusting odor in anything but the nano concentration it was meant to be mixed in.
