I notice when I use my calculator, the mls pretty much mirror grams in my recipes. Is it fine that way, or is there a better ml/gram ratio or something I should be using?

Are these standards already built into EJuiceCalculator? I've just been trusting their recommendations for grams for all the ingredients I've put in. I haven't adjusted anything.

In general people use 1 g/ml for flavors in recipes. You could use the precise gravity (and ELR also supports specifying gravity of flavors), but that would only make sense if you make recipes for yourself - when you share a recipe, chances are, people are going to use 1 g/ml.
Regardless of what you use, the key is consistency :)
EDIT: I should make this a bit more clear: People are using 1 g/ml when sharing recipes - which is what you should go after. If you do not, and if you share recipes, you should, along with percentage, share what gravity you are using for each flavor...
I personally feel we should all just use the standard of 1g/ml for consistency purposes. If everyone used it it wouldn't be an issue and we'd all be able to perfectly recreate each other's recipes.
If the actual density starts to vary too much from that 1g/ml it can get a bit hard to predict the resulting volume of complete mix.
This can be annoying when you want to make say 120ml of liquid precisely. Not sure if that's as annoying as manually entering all the densities into a calculator.
I used these for the first shipment of flavors I got in, but have gotten lazy and just started using 1 g/mL on any new flavors I get in.
My questions are: When I'm following a clone recipe on here, does the creator use 1 g/mL or the actual specific weight? Does it matter? I used 1 g/mL on all flavors in a Cereal Killa clone, so would it taste different/closer to the real deal if I went back and used specific weights?
How big is the finished liquid batch? The more you make at a time, the further off you are in total volume.
Usually 15mL test batches and 120mL full batches at the largest. So pretty much everyone who posts a clone recipe (or at least the biggies like Nana Cream, Cereal Killa, etc.) is using specific weight to get the percentages?
I would say more people are moving that way- it probably wouldn't hurt for your 120ml batches. 7% flavoring at 120ml is 8.4ml. The biggest difference I've noticed with any one flavor is at ~.05 grams per ml over 1 gram. So if you used 1g per ml, your 120ml mix would be short .42ml of flavoring. However for your 15ml bottle would only be short .052ml- hardly noticeable.
