Pink Spot Vapor Clones
submitted over 10 years ago by mayor-of-whoreisland

So I got a request from a family friend to clone some Pink Spot Vapor flavors because she is going broke at $23 per 30ml. She is an older lady who would make a mule seem like a push over, so getting her to even try other flavors has been a massive PITA. So I am going to take a shot at cloning these for her. PSV, at least their original releases were mostly very simple Lorann mixes which means lots of food coloring. I will be using the food color free versions (were available) and will give options to sub out flavors that are not available without food coloring.

So far she has given me a sample of their Blueberry Mojito and Watermelon Wave but she is supposed to be giving me some of their signature flavors as well. As such, this is going to be a work in progress post that I will update as I work through them.

IIRC Pink Spot actually sells some of their concentrates to certain places. Mostly in Europe I believe. Example. Shipping costs would be a little rough to the states though.

Also they sell their stuff for $23 for 30ml now!? Jeez. I used to vape a lot of their stuff years ago. Can't believe anyone is paying that much for it now.

80% of my friends are paying $0.75-$0.80 per mL for their eliquid.

I have customers BEGGING to buy my juice but until I am fully insured for all risk, I just can't do it. I would probably sell $1500 a week in profits if I wanted to get into the ejuice trade locally, but that's the last business I ever want to touch because of the entitled vapers who ruin it for us normals.

Yeah I looked into the concentrates briefly and could not find any suppliers in the US. IMHO of all their flavors I have personally tried, none have been terribly complex so I think I should be able to figure these PSV flavors out.

After getting settled in DIY, you begin to realize just how ridiculous some of the prices are out there. Case in point, at one time I contemplated buying a 500ml bottle of a juice that I have since cloned that would have cost $200+ shipping ($0.40 per ml). I can now make the same juice in that size for $16.63 ($0.03 per ml). It blows my mind that people are paying $0.75 - $1 per ml when DIY is $0.03 - $0.06 per ml

Its not really mind blowing, not everyone has the time, patience, or passion to diy. It blows my mind that subway sells shitty salads for $7 that i can make for less than a dollar but people still buy them for convenience. Diy is great, but i say leave it to the people who have the intelligence and common sense to do so :) not really relevant but just thought id throw that in there.

I guess it is just my mindset then lol. If it intrestests me, I will research it and tear into it. No sense in paying for something that you can do better yourself.

Here's a german store selling their concentrates.

Problem with those concentrates is they put 12mg nicotine in some of them, which means after some time they'll develop that peppery nicotine taste. So you have to either store them very well or use them immediately lest the taste changes a lot. It's not a deal breaker, just something one needs to be aware of.

Love their "Swagger" and "RY8", though. I gave cloning them a shot but it was a miss all around as I simply don't have access to some of the flavors they use. Very likely they're using stuff from a local supplier and I live a few thousand km away, so yeah...

Let me know if any of you found a good clone of their Swagger. You'd be my hero forever.

Pink Spot Blueberry Mojito:

This one was damn easy, and actually pretty decent for what it is. From what I remember about PSV they use TFA Key lime in a few of their signature line offerings. So I expect to be using this one a lot for these clones.

Key Lime (TFA) 6%
Blueberry (LA) 5%
60/40

You can sub in Blueberry Extra (TFA) but I would add ~1% EM as LA Blueberry seems a bit sweeter than TFA.

Watermelon Wave:

Working on this one now. So far, it just seems to just be LA Watermelon at a pretty high percentage with some sweetener thrown in.

What did you decide on for this? I love Watermelon Wave and just recently heard about Lorann Watermelon being the source. Did you only add sweetener? I thought there might be a slight hint of koolada or menthol in there.

Let me know if you clone their Pink Spot- French Vanilla. It is thw most creamy vanilla Ive ever tasted almost like a international delight french vanilla coffee creamer type.

I don't think she is using that one so I doubt I will get a sample of that. Personally I never tried it, but I have heard that people suspected they were using DIYFS Holy Vanilla. Which makes sense as both company's are based in Vegas.

I'm a big fan of their grape lime Rickey. Gotta remember to throw a grape and tfa key lime on my next order

Lorann grape has to be the base for this, and yeah probably TFA key lime. It's a great flavour that one. I'm curious what they add to LA grape to make the Hubba Bubba Grape mix. Is there a hubba bubba concentrate anywhere or is it just a bubblegum?

I'll have to try LA grape. I picked up tfa grape candy and tfa key lime to try shortly after posting this. The tfa grape flavor was really nice but came with some serious throat hit even with zero nic.

LA Grape is the thick purple fluid, like the one used in the Pink Spot Grape flavours. More American grape than the actual fruit.

Did you ever find what makes up the Pink Spot flavour? I'm sure it's a mix of Raspberry, Pineapple and something else (all Lorann). I know you've given up but if you ever found out the recipe I'd be really grateful to hear it
