I'm looking for the company that Velvet Cloud gets some of their flavorings from. I could've sworn at one point they had it listed on their site somewhere, but now I can't find it. I thought it was moon stone, or moonflower, something like that.
Beyond that, anyone know of some other VG based flavoring companies besdies LA Naturals that are solid/reputable?
And for the recipe, here's a good springtime vape I've been enjoying lately:
key lime la 6.50%
tfa coconut extra 2.50%
TFA pineapple (dragonfruit also works well) 2.00%
Citric acid (1 drop per mL)
I've been trying to find their flavorings forever but no go.
The two most common are Nature's Flavors (www.bestflavors.com for their vaping category and better pricing) which contains alcohol, and Medicine Flower which has NO carrier (no PG, VG and only trace alcohol in citrus flavors and rum flavor).
That's what it was!!! You rule! At one point they definitely said they used medicine flower.
That's interesting because NONE of their flavors taste like MF to me, unless they add caramel to every one of their flavors, hmmm.
I'm also very curious. I was almost certain Night Shift contained Chocolate Glazed Doughnut from Capella, but who knows.
Ok, I promised myself no retail juice in February but I placed 4 orders (2 from DIYers, though). So I will order this Night Shift flavor tomorrow since it isn't February anymore, lol.
And then I will go ahead and hack at it until I figure it out.
I can't find a Donut/Doughnut flavor that doesn't have PG. I'm thinking maybe they use this. It is the closest I could find, but I haven't done DIY yet so I'm not sure.
I would figuratively kill for a PG-Free Night Shift clone. Smells like chocolate tootsie rolls, tastes like amazing.
Not this guy!
There is some very recognizable weird "glazed"-ness to that flavoring and in Night Shift. It has a dry texture/mouth feel to it, but for all I know thats a single chemical used in multiple flavorings/by multiple manufacturers.
Since playing with Acetyl Pyrazine more, I'm suspecting its in several of my other desert flavorings in small amounts, making me doubt ... everything? everything. Not this guy.
Probably Medicine Flower

I had never heard of them til this pretty cool guy /u/loud_car told me about them. He's the only person I've seen work with these flavors. Theyre very pricy but fit all the "organic" etc criteria virgin vapor claims.
He linked me this site where you can purchase dilutions of MF to test out so you're not committing as much cash up front for something you may not enjoy: http://www.7bucktees.com/shop/medicine-flower-flavor-dilutions-in-vg/
Heres a recipe dump he posted: http://reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/2wtoq4/heres_the_haul_from_this_long_sunday_all_mf/
