That's ghetto. Invisible tape is what all us classy guys use.
Avery label maker software (Online version or Offline version)and these labels are what I use. I use to use the Avery brand ones, but I found the Vinyl Inkjet Waterproof are really awesome and they are the same size as the Avery 5160 labels.
I also run them through as I need them and haven't had them jam up the printer yet.

Anybody using the clear Avery labels? Says they can be printed on with inkjet. I wanna try them out
I use them, they arent anything special and seem to have a bit of a tacky residue on them. Otherwise they work well enough for personal/friend use.
So do you print off a whole bunch at a time, or do you run them through as you need them? I was wondering how a sheet would stand up with several trips through the printer.
What little I sell/give away I would like something nicer than hand written, but I get such varying ratio/strentgh/recipes that it would be impractical to print a sheet even with the common stuff.
I use Avery compatible labels that are vinyl/waterproof and I run them through as needed. Never had them jam up. Just store the sheet stored away from heat and preferably pressed between the cardboard that comes with it.
