People who mix by weight

For everyone who mixes by weight is this done only for small batches then mixed by size for larger quantities as scales may not be able to reach high enough for the larger quantities

It all depends on your scale, for example I have the LB-501 scale and it goes up to 500g which is more than enough for me since I'm usually not mixing 240ml+ in one bottle. For a larger quantity your gonna want a scale that has the capacity to hold however much weight in grams you plan on mixing.

If you are making BIG batches you get a bigger scale. And if it's only 0.1g accuracy that's OK as long as you are making BIG batches on it.

Think of accuracy in relation to batch size.

A .01g scale for a 300ml batch

A .1g scale for a 3000 ml batch

Roughly the same accuracy is achieved.

You can mix by weight for any volume.

There's a video of 5 Pawns doing 5 gallons(?) at a time. I think it scales just fine.

I have the same scale...LB-501 and I can make 300ml's of juice at a time....works perfectly for me. If I need to make more than 10 bottles at a clip I have a serious vaping habit....lol....

I have a 500g scale with 0.01g precision - if I were to mix more, I have a 3 kg kitchen scale with 0.1g precision - I've only ever used the 500g scale.

You could use the kitchen scale to make a base liquid though :)
