Fun?

I'm mortgaging both my homes so I can buy just a few more flavors.

Just 3 more. Only need a few. Maybe a dozen or two dozen.

Mmmmmm cheaper.

I always need just one more flavor to make something I see or think up. Then I figure if I'm going to buy one flavor I may as well pick up a few more. Then I get close to enough for free shipping so I add some more. It never ends.

My biggest struggle as a college student that is unemployed ;-;

I could get these little vials for $1.50 at wizardlabs, plus high shipping...

Or these big ass 4oz bottles for $8 at TFA, plus high shipping...

Oh look every recipe I find has flavors from 4 different flavor manufacturers! That means FOUR TIMES THE HIGH SHIPPING!

I'm working to get my mTurk account unsuspended so I can make $75 to order everything I need. Just vials, flavors, and PG/VG! Already got nicotine, but I'm out of everything else.

Check out One Stop DIY shop, they carry most of the flavor vendors and have really reasonable shipping.

So I got a whole bunch of dessert flavors, Vanilla, coffee, peanut butter, graham cracker, brown sugar, white chocolate, etc. and a couple tobacco flavors. I'm not huge on fruit flavors so I didnt get anything like that.

Made my first batch - 70% VG 30%PGish 3mg nic

Flavors were: 3% Vanilla creme, 3% Kona Coffee, 3% Molasses.

I knew I should let it steep, but I wanted to give it a whirl anyway, because hell, I was excited. Boy does it taste awful. No flavor that is anything like the ingredients, and a weird, chemically , just plain nasty taste. I'm hoping this is just because it needs to age. any thoughts?

I'm assuming your flavors are from the Flavor Apprentice, if not disregard this, but I've found the link below to be extremely helpful. I don't always use the percentages recommended, but it's the first place I go to to find out if a flavor is a 1 drop in 10ml kind of flavor or more like a 15% is not enough type. From there it's just guesswork and testing.

I think you want to cut waaaay back on the Kona, probably no more than 1 decent sized drop in 10-15ml,and bump up the molasses quite a bit, like around 6-10%. I have a recipe I use it in at 8% and it's not the main flavor.

Don't know about vanilla creme, as I don't have that particular vanilla, but I usually use vanillas at around 4%, and I'm betting this one is similar to the vanilla's I have(mainly tfa vanilla bean).

Is that a recipe that you found or is that original?
