I've been playing around with it and really enjoy it. Adding a strawberry/strawberry ripe combo at around 5% and the rest cheesecake with graham cracker crust is good but lacking that complexity and density I look for in a good juice!
Just looking for any recipies people would be willing to share.
I have every TFA flavor at my disposal!
For the longest time, I didn't mix this recipe because I didn't think it'd taste like Crunch Berry. Well, it's darn close to Coval's.
-
10% Strawberry Ripe
-
6% Bavarian Cream
-
5% Cheesecake Graham Crust
-
2% French Vanilla Deluxe
-
1% Ethyl Maltol
-
1% Acetyl Pyrazine
Vanilla is a bit forward for the first few days, after 10 days it's sublime.
i've been making this minus the em and ap, just added the em and fuck its substantially better. how much do you think the ap is needed?
Is it cheesecake graham crust or cheesecake with graham crust?
I don't know if there's 2 flavors but the one I have is just the cheesecake crust without any cheesecake.
There's a pretty good crunchberries using the flavor that I have bookmarked but I'm not home. I'll post it if it hasn't been posted when I get home.
It gets posted in the comments here but I guess there's some dispute as to if it actually tastes like crunch berries.
I've already developed a crunch berries recipie that is totally spot on, I'd share it but my shop sells too much of it to risk letting the recipie out! Thanks though!
It's cheesecake with graham cracker crust, has that nice creamy undertone, and a very mild, not 'spicy' at all cinnamon that something like cinnamon red hots gives.
I'm a sucker for subtlty!!!!
Posted this in the monthly thread
I should really rename it, it doesn't really taste much like cheesecake, more like a strawberry malt type thing. It is really good though. Not overpowering. You could probably mess with the levels or types of strawberry.
Thanks! It sounds really good.
I've only got access to TFA at the moment. I did scour that thread already, though! Crazy what reading the sidebar can actually do ;)
I'll try to do just a TFA variation, and post it if it's decent!
Please do!
I'm about to make:
Strawberry Ripe 7 Bavarian Cream 2 Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 2 Sweet Cream 1 Vanilla Swirl 2 Cheesecake w/ GC 1 Strawberry 3
It'll be at 80/20 vg/pg and 2.5 mg. Going to be tasting on a derringer at .28 dual coil. Checking back in 10 with results. Obviously this will be an unsteeped tester and the cream will not be developed!
Try like .5% brown sugar
Trying right now at 80/20 VG/PG at 2.5mg.
On a Derringer, single coil, 4 wrap clapton 24g/30g. 4.2 volts. .4 ohms. 2 air holes.
Really rich and pleasent, feels more complex then I'd assume the two together would be. The brown suger really fills out the Cheesecake feel, and it's balanced really well with the graham cracker crust! I'm actually really enjoying this.
The perfect sweetness, anymore would make it come off too sweet and 'fake' tasting. It's almost creme brulee-ish and the best way. I'd give it a 8/10 so far, I really enjoy this, I'm all about these creamy/bready flavors.
I'm eager to see what this will be like after atleast a week, probably longer.
Thanks for the suggestion :)
