Very grateful redditor
submitted over 10 years ago by nathanielle_jonesMixologist

I don't have any new content to provide really, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone on this thread for all your questions, answers, ideas and guidance. I lurk here all the time and the tips I have learned from all of you has made my DIYing feel like I have a chum sitting over my shoulder telling me how to do it properly, pointing out where I might be going wrong.

I don't think I could DIY without this sub, I wouldn't know where to start. But I love it and I feel like I'm getting somewhere with it and it wouldn't be possible without this place. So thank you all.

I have once recipe that is the shit. From a handful of people who have tried it, none have not wanted to buy it. Must be good. Excuse my measuring methods, I know they aren't in the right format, but it's what made the juice so tasty:

x3 30ml bottles

Bottle #1: TFA Blueberry Wild 12%, 36mg nic

Bottle #2: 1ml WG Watermelon, 1ml WG pear, 0.5ml WG spearmint, 3 drops of menthol

Bottle #3: 1ml TFA Juicy Peach, 0.8ml WG banana, 1ml any strawberry, few drops of ethyl maltol

Combine all bottles and steep for a week. Sorry for the scatty measurements, but it's worth the effort.

Thank you again. This place keeps me going when I mix a "wet socks" blend and gives me the motivation to note down the details of the failure, try to work out why it failed and refine it to get the flavour I was after, rather than throw it in the bin and give up.

I'm very grateful to you all. You're all legends.

Good for you! I honestly don't remember the last time I bought juice. I have been at this for 3.5 years. Once you get a feel for what really works for you, no mass produced juice can cut it- and the savings are glorious! Keep on mixing and learning. Congrats!

Glad you're diggin the sub, OP. This is definitely one of the best places to bounce ideas off of other DIY'ers.
