I ordered a couple of items and I'm wondering what the typical turnover time is?
Update : Finally received my shipment from my order on February 10th. I ordered all flavor bases and some were pretty elaborate mostly FA mixes to get the most bang for my buck. I have yet to mix but they smell delicious. If you vapecrafter guys are watching just be up front about your lead times and implement a tracking number for your shipping to get folks off your case. I was patient based on other posts I have seen and never contacted them and received about the same turnaround as others.
I strongly suggest you search /r/electronic_cigarette for VapeCrafter and take a look at different threads there relating to this vendor. Though anecdotal, my personal experience with this vendor was awful. Literally the worst vendor I've dealt with since I fell down the vaping rabbit hole. Do your research and go from there. The one thing I will say, is be prepared to wait.. and wait.. and wait :)
I wish I had vetted them on reddit. Around a week ago and the status hasn't changed.
I ordered twice from VapeCrafter before I got into DIY. I wanted to try out a few clone recipes I found here without buying all of the ingredients. I thought the business idea was great and I really wanted them to work out. They sent me shipping notification on both orders within days, but it was ages before the packages ever arrived. No tracking information either. I don't know if I am spoiled by all of the great vendors I have found through reddit, but I expect certain things from a vendor. VapeCrafter left me with an unsatisfactory feeling. I think it is a shame, but they lost my business.
Well that's unfortunate. I wish I had did more research first but at least I am mentally prepared to wait now. Thanks for the responses. It's a shame to see because it is such a brilliant idea and there is definitely a market for it. The first vendor to maintain stock at reasonable prices and provide decent customer support could do very well in this DIY game.
I know in the past they had huge problems with their shipping - my impression was that they had gotten better though - I don't know if they actually have though.
What I am impressed with, is that 30 ml of flavor base costs the same as 30 ml of ready-vape juice. That, I find impressive, and worth waiting the extra bit for ;)
EDIT: Meaning: 30 ml of this flavor base makes 545 ml finished juice. They sell that, for the same price as 30 ml of finished juice.
Yeah the pricing is fantastic if you are using strong concentrates. I ordered some 10 ml bases that should make almost 200 mls. You seemed to have tied yourself with this company in some way. You don't worry about it reflecting poorly at all?
I'm not really tied with them - I have a link from my site to theirs :) I thought it was a great idea, if people wanted to try a recipe without buying all the ingredients.
Now, should people decide to mix a recipe by using the link, I get a tiny % of the sale. To date, I've made just over $10 - I never figured it would be used much. I thought of it as a really neat option for us. For now, I'm still willing to give them some leeway - they do have some satisfied customers.
Just my thoughts.. Have placed multiple orders with them and all were shipped in around 3 weeks. They are slow to fulfill (small startup and limited workforce, I believe) but definitely quality performance, all my mixes were spot on. They had issues with Mailing in my earlier orders and was comped enough. If you don't mind the wait in fulfillment they are a must to try. Big thanks to Kaween and I am a happy customer and wish then luck to scale up faster so that they can fix orders faster. They are definitely not a scam and this had been my personal experience.
