I can't seem to find a good banana nut bread recipe, I tried the reccomended 5%-7% and it tastes very bland. No kick behind it. Any one have one their willing to share?
I like tfa banana nut bread at around 10%.
I tried it at 7% and couldn't taste banana nut bread at all.
This is one of my favorites. It's not just banana nut bread, though.
Here's one of the first mixes I ever did. It definitely could use some tweaking (I've never really bothered to experiment with it). For one, the percentage is WAY higher than I would go now. You could very easily bring down the TFA Banana Nut Bread and still have it be tasty. Also, I would swap out the Caramel (Original) with Caramel Clear, as the former has corn syrup in it. Any caramel would be good though. Banana Nut Bread (TFA) is a great base to be built upon. Experiment and see what you can come up with.
- 10% Banana Nut Bread (TFA)
- 2% Vanilla Swirl
- 3% Banana Cream (TFA) or Banana Cream Pie (OoO)
- 1.5% AP
- 1.5% Caramel (Original) (TFA) or Caramel Clear (TFA)
- 1% Sweet Cream (TFA)
- 2% Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Goldilocks, from the VaporTrails NW Discontinued Blends thread. It's insanely good. Tons of flavor.
