First off, my office space is 1125 sq/ft and has a nice sized parking lot. I got an awesome deal on the space, but the previous tenants left it a complete shithole, which I have been working on cleaning up for the past few days. I am now at the point where I can finally start getting shit done on the clean room and my r&d room, since they are the most important to me to get completed first, especially since I have been doing this on an extremely tight budget and can't just do a full renovation at once. One step at a time, but each step gets me one foot closer to my main goal. I have ripped counters off the wall, filled tons of holes in the wall and spackled/sanded all of the impurities in the walls. Tomorrow I am painting the clean room and if time permits, the r&d room. After the painting is done, the carpet is getting ripped out and I will be putting vinyl flooring in. I plan on having the flooring in by next weekend. I could go on and on about my future work I will be doing to the office, but I'll go ahead and take you on a nice lil tour of my new dream office :D
- Parking lot and the entrance
- waiting room, room I'm not sure what to do with yet, receptionist area (probably going to be where I process shipments and such), and then r&d room
- Possibly a relax room (couch and tv, idk I still haven't decided what to do with this room), then the storage room, bathroom, into kitchen
- kitchen and then what will be the clean room
- And finally an image album
I'll update tomorrow after the painting is done :D I still haven't fully decided on the colors yet. I am going to do a 2 tone, with white as the top and a blue of some sort as the bottom color, possibly a greyish blue.
UPDATE: first coat of paint applied and bigass desk removed Tomorrow I will be applying a second coat of paint, another white application for the top 2/3 and a nice blue color for the bottom 1/3. Also I will be painting the bathroom a nice light grey shade. Did I mention how much I hate painting/buying paint? :P Also, I got stainless outlet covers, as the beige ones just aren't gonna cut it for me.
I can't wait to rip the carpet out and put the flooring in. I think I will hire someone to put the vinyl down, I'm pretty good at most hands on stuff, but I don't feel comfortable putting it in as I've never laid vinyl flooring before hehe
UPDATE 2: second coat and two tone now, also first coat in bathroom
UPDATE 3: bathroom 2nd layer, carpet ripped up, new ceiling put in
I'm happy I went ahead and got the ceiling tiles today, but man were those things expensive. I just got 2 cases (12 per case) to do the clean room and r&d room, but I will be short 2 in the r&d room. I only replaced the ones in the clean room today and probably tomorrow will do the r&d ones. I never thought the tiles would be that expensive, but it was cheaper than drywalling the whole ceiling :P
Those labels are still cringe worthy
They are but I like em. I've decided not to put them on labels and just have them as website art/eventually stickers to give out with larger orders.
Can you post your menu here for everyone? I'm sure some folks haven't heard of your line and offerings in this sub.
recipes:
-
Horchata-tas - a spot on horchata flavor, from what everyone tells me. Basically a vanilla cinnamon custard type. Really good dessert vape.
-
Watermelon crack - watermelon jolly rancher, my attempt at kryptonite by cosmic fog, but kinda got it a bit sidetracked, but this tastes way way better. This stuff is seriously addictive, especially if you are a fan of watermelon!
-
Starb Hurst - tropical starburst flavor. super fruity, smells spectacular, tastes even better.
-
PMD - Pear, melon, dragonfruit. perfect fruit combo, simple, yet complex. Started off trying to clone jezzebel by seducejuice. This is similar to it, yet different and a bit more tasty.
-
Mom's Milk - my version of mother's milk. nice strawberry custard type.
-
Honeysuckle my Cuke - Super delicious cucumber, melon, honeysuckle blend.
-
Acai Melon - Very refreshing acai, apple, melon vape. very delicious and a nice palate cleanser.
-
Dad's Milk - The custard base of mom's milk, but with a blend of fruits that will bottle your mind! Super tasty if you like the fruit custards.
-
Exotic Cactus - A delightful combination of rare fruits and cactus. Hints of dragonfruit, pear, banana, mango and passionfruit with a slight bit of cactus, it is very soothing and a very different type of fruity vape.
-
Melonlyptus - A wonderful blend of fruits, mostly melon, and eucalyptus mint. Perfect vape for a sore throat or stuffy nose! Highly reccomended to menthol lovers and sick people. Even people who dislike menthol flavors like this one, it's quite unique. Great palate cleanser as well as sinus cleanser
-
GWFF - Lots of berries mashed together, thrown in a pineapple, suspended in the tastiest peach juice you've ever had! Sorry, i kinda got carried away there. Several berries, pineapple, peach, ginger (slight amount for a lil kick), and pear. This one takes a bit of time to settle down, my only fruit mix that should have some steep time.
-
Fish from Finland - Spot on swedish fish. very delicious, it tastes and smells spot on
-
Doctorate in Pepper - Just like taking a drink of a nice cold Dr. Pepper right out of the fridge. I finally got all of the kinks worked out of the recipe. I started off with HIC's recipe and went from there modifying it to my tastes. It uses 9 flavorings, only 3 of which are from his recipe. His was pretty good but I thought it could be improved a good bit. Getting a decent carbonated effect was the tough part
Awesome man ! Once you get everything settled I wanna come check it out when i'm in town.
Great juice btw if you guys haven't tried it.
Seems like you know what you're doing, but I have to disagree with the thought of not using your artwork as labels. I love your artwork and I think that your bottles would stand out in a crowd since your labels are fun and nicely colored. I would say use those and see what happens.
Also, your recipes/menu looks to be promising as well. I would definitely try a few. Put me on your contact list whenever your website is up.
