I really like this flavor. So fresh and crisp. However, the flavor does not get stronger with more %, and turns into perfume at higher %. How do I boost this flavor without taking away that main flavor of peach? I use 3-4.5%.
I have tried: Regular Peach, which does not mix well IME. Apricot, which is good, but tends to blend in with peach. Pear helps to add body to the mix but takes away the freshness and main flavor of peach. Mango, but that dominated the peach.
EDIT: I have also tried Citric Acid which does not seem to help much. ( .5-1% )
I'm not sure what type of flavor you are going for, but i do know that FA White Peach and Cap Peaches & Cream mix together excellently if you are going for a Cream base. I have a recipe that includes quite a few different berries, creams, and the 2 peaches that is excellent and the peachy comes through very nicely. I can drop the percentages of the peaches and add 2 other flavors and it becomes a dead ringer for Skittles in purple bag with a Creamy base.
Another fruit I have tried which is similar and can really make peach pop is FA Mango and Fig.
Interesting results with the skittles haha. I have tried that combo, and it is delicious! However, I am looking for a refreshing peach flavor, and that peaches n cream tends to take the lead when mixed with white peach. The mango also takes over white peach, but it is an interesting mix. I have not tried fig yet, what does it taste like?
Citrus notes (FA Lemon Sicily, for instance) can help.
Thanks for the tip. I've tried it with Lemon Sicily already. Can you recommend another brands lemon? (Sour) Unfortunately the lemon sicily was too strong for me and not Sour enough
FE Lemon is sour would be too strong and overpower the FA White Peach. TFA Lemon tastes like a cleaning agent to me, but has its uses. I haven't tried CAP Lemon Sicily (different from FA's) but I've heard good things. LA Lemonade might be a good choice here as it's is a good middle-ground; bit of sour, not overpowering.
What else is in this recipe? There are other options depending on the mix. Inawera Peach (Brzoskwinie) around 1% with FA White Peach at 3-4% is pretty fantastic.
I don't like using white peach (fa) at more than 2.5%, imo it starts getting perfumey above that point. Try mixing yellow peach (cap) with it. Start with 4% yellow peach and move up from there to see what you like. They compliment each other by having totally different peach profiles and make quite a nice mix :D
I've been wanting to try caps yellow peach. Not a big fan of their juicy peach. Can you describe the yellow peach? Is it, in any way similar to FA's regular peach ?
yellow peach (cap) and white peach (fa) are tied for my favorite peach flavors, with peach (INW) in a close 3rd, followed by peach (FA). The yellow peach is a more sweet flavor and less tart than the white peach, but it isn't like juicy peach. It is slightly similar to peach (fa), but imo it is a better peach flavor. Like I said, the yellow peach and white peach are on totally different flavor spectrums from each other, but combined make a pretty nice peachy combo. It's well worth a try and this reminds me I need to order more yellow peach, only about 30ml left :\
I use white peach at a 2:1 with regular FA peach. I'm with you, I'd vape 10% white peach if it tasted like 5x 2%. 2:1 favoring white peach is my temporary solution. I ordered a handful of other peaches to figure out how to round out and enhance overal peachitude, but I'm still waiting for USPS to stop pingponging my mail between PA and NC. Waiting on a bunch of pear too, because peach and pear were made for eachother.
Be careful with the pear! It will enhance the peach at low %s but start to mutes the peach any higher. I'd use 0.5-1% pear. What are you percentages for that peach combo?
I'm not sure as I haven't personally tried any White Peach flavoring well, but there is a White Peach flavor at a local B&M sells like crazy. The creator told me there was a hint of Champagne in it.
I'm not sure if he used other flavors of peach or anything else, that's the only hint he offered me. He also tends to favor LorAnns in a few of his mixes, but I know he uses TFA and CAP as well. I didn't think he used FA, but they seem to be the only one with a White Peach.
