First batch hits kinda hard

so I made a small batch of unflavored juice last night. My nicotine was 40 mg/mL and I was mixing that with pure VG. I did 1 mL of nicotine to 9 mL of VG to get 10 mL of 4 mg juice. When I vape this stuff, it is making me lightheaded after about 2 hits. I'm only on 16w, so not high powered. Why is this shit hitting me so hard?

Glycerine came from Walmart and my nicotine came from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/DR-Nicotine-Solution-Lozenge-Pieces/dp/B00ML6QWUS That's the nic I bought.

Honestly, sounds like shitty nicotine. Does it have a peppery taste? What color is the nicotine? The more brown/tan it is, the more oxidized and harsh it will be

I will have some in the morning and let you know whether it's peppery or not. I honestly don't remember. But it's as clear as water. You can't tell a difference between it and the glycerine.

The peppery is part of the harshness, I would recommend getting some nude nicotine, or even wizard labs is fine. Its gonna make a huge difference
