Mix by weight and that shit shouldn't happen
Mix by weight is where it's at. Unless you have to get flavors from wizard. I've got a number of bags with pipettes labeled with flavor names for those damn glass vials. Some day i'll get a bunch of small bottles to transfer the wizard shit to.
I recently noticed that wizard sells dropper caps for their 8ml vials.
I just don't have the necessary small fortune to procure enough of them....
Interesting I never noticed that. Looks like they come out to about 44 cents each but I can get 10 ml dropper bottles for that price and I can just squeeze and move on. I think Wizard should just raise the price and include them with the vials. I try not to order from them because I hate the vials but they almost always have what I need in stock. Unless it's fruit circles that is.
This is actually another reason I mix by weight -- although I still occasionally use pipettes for trasnfering out of the 4oz supply bottles into the 30mL dripping bottles...
...and I'm constantly paranoid that someday, a similar thing is going to happen and I'll have no idea how to get it out... Maybe it's the permanently installed liquid mixer now.
Look for some dispenser caps. Saves me from using pipettes
Thank you! I think I'm going to have to do this. Heartland sells yorker caps for their bog bottles, but my LA nana cream is in the manufacturer original bottle, can't find a cap for it yet. Might grab a spare 4oz empty bottle from heartland just for it though...
Mixing by weight is more accurate and easier, like the others have said.
Here are some good guides from around here to do with weights. I'm in the process of hunting down more weight lists...
Am I the only person that really just doesn't want to buy a scale? Haha
Nope. I don't have cash to buy a scale... also I have about 40 flavors, all in those Wizard Labs vials, and I don't feel like buying individual pipettes for each.
