I'm trying to find a tobacco I like or get help with the ones I have. I've tried M-Type Premium Tobacco, Virgina Fire Cured Tobacco, 555 Type DK Tobacco, and Tobacco Type. I can't come up with a recipe for these flavors or I'm using too high of a percentage.
What vendors do you guys use for tobacco flavors? Does anyone use the flavors I listed? It seems creating a good tobacco recipe is harder than fruits or desserts. Any help is appreciated.
More or less by lazy accident, I discovered that TFA RY4 and TFA RY4 Double added together at 5% each somehow brings the 'tobacco' out strongly while suppressing both the 'perfume' note of the first and the caramel note of the second. A couple percent of TFA Hazelnut seems to deepen it without really making it taste like hazelnut. A good long steep adds more caramel and hazelnut flavor, but it's a pretty good tobacco as a fresh mix. I imagine A. Pyrazine would give that toasty nutty note without the hazelnut.
I'll try and report back when this batch is fully steeped, but it's the first time I've gotten a fresh 'tobacco' juice that was vapable without using a NET.
that's pretty cool. Happy accidents!
I might need to try this out. Been getting back into tobacco juices lately because there's only so much fruit or dessert I can vape while drinking beer.
Thanks!
Yeah, I'd made RY4(7%)+hazelnut(3%), which is pretty good but nothing spectacular, and a large test batch of RY4 double(10%), and needed an empty bottle, shrugs so together they went. I honestly don't think either of those DY4s taste much like tobacco, so it was a surprise to me. That mix, with both cured before mixing came together pretty quickly, and I liked it, so now I have 60ml of 5%/5%/1% steeping, but then I ran out of my other tobacco vape... anyway, surprising cigarette like at 4 days curing, where I find each alone unvapable alone at 4 days. I had a friend try it blind this morning and he thought it was a tobacco vanilla. He said it was a little harsh but good. Anyway, not fantastic so far, but surprisingly cigarette like raw.
