This vaping oils BS is getting out of hand. A very large chunk of flavorings we use are derived from oils. Absinthe is a good example anise oil and alcohol.

Doesn't it say exactly this in the sidebar? Not sure why people are still so afraid of it.

Paranoia, stupidity, or both.

Apparently "Essential oils" from citrus aren't actually oily oils that cause lipid pneumonia. Or so I've heard.

Want to know an easy way to see if there are lipids in a flavor?

  • Fill a glass with water.

  • Put in a drop of the flavor in question.

  • If it disperses through the water it's water soluble and fine to use.

  • If it sits on top of the water in a bead like THIS then it is a lipid, and should not be vaped.

Is the Madagascar vanilla from FW colored? Thats why is so dark i assume? Also, what does the WONF mean on juicy orange (cap)? I thought it was usually "without natural flavors" but its listed right next to nat. flavors without a comma. Been hesitant to use it but it smells wonderful! Also, the "grapefruit oil" (LA) pictured from wizard labs is an oil! Havent used it for obvious reasons, just thought people should know, i dont remember it saying that on the site. Thanks guys!

Nope.

Big link on the sidebar relevant to your mistake there: Vaping Essential Oils and Lipid Pneumonia

Not to ridicule you our anything, but did you even read said post in the sidebar? It specifically talks about the LACK of lipids in many essential oils (I.E. Citrus). A huge majority of the flavorings we use today, include essential oils in them. Clove flavor? 20% eugenol (clove essential oil). Anise, orange, lemon, etc. All have various amounts of essential oils in them. Obviously you would use a dilute amount of said oils, not straight.

What you want to avoid would be things solvated in soybean oil, vegetable oil, etc.

Back at ya with regard to what I typed above.

Aside the bit quoted above I take no issue with what you've said. If you'll look again at what I typed, I replied to OP's comment, wherein he said "[it's] an oil! Havent used it for obvious reasons (sic)" and referred to that as a mistake (and linking him to the post you just summarized).
