Dr Fn Pepper
submitted over 10 years ago by branflakes92

I've been looking for a Dr Pepper flavour and have heard of Dr Fn Pepper by wllmc which is supposed to be pretty bang on. However, the thread on Vaping Underground no longer shows the recipe. I've found one here http://dot1ml.com/mixer/36cmpsg that is supposed to be the recipe but I wasn't sure before I went ahead and bought the ingredients.

Just wanted to confirm is this is the right recipe. Thanks.

I dropped $20 on the flavors for this and while it resembles Dr. Pepper it's harsh as fuck. I can't vape more than .5ml or so before my throat hurts at 3mg nic

Pretty sure that's it. Haven't made the stuff but I remember reading that thread and those were the ingredients. I'd go for it.

This honestly may get me into diy. I need a Dr pepper flavor enough to convince me. Thanks!

Several celebrity vape chefs pulled recipes after mirror-database sites copy-pasta'd their work for months or years. Say what you want, some of these guys' mixes have raised the bar for what we call good juice, and they don't release new stuff publicly anymore because of profiteers. and lack of reference to the source. The e-liquid-recipe.com/Vapecrafter pipeline (as much as it refuses to take down recipes at author's request) is the worst example that comes to mind.

It sucks for us that want to plug and play a recipe. These guys know the internet views them as golden geese for ejuice. They'd probably keep sharing if credit wasn't stolen so readily. People like sharing with friends, not mooched off of, right? It's not like these are secrets, they just don't want their creations raped anymore.

That whole fiasco with elr, HiC, and Daath was just beyond ridiculous. All Daath did was try to centralize all of HiC's recipes in one spot. Finding them all on VU was quite obnoxious.

HiC threw a fit and wanted them taken down. Someone clearly acted preemptively and created a new username and adapted them for fear of not having them in one spot.

The vape crafter thing also was taken way out of context. While I do see one side of the coin, calling their business unethical is silly. It's pretty common knowledge once you post a recipe online, it's going to move around. Especially if said recipe is good. At least all of the recipes on elr give HiC credit and redirect to the original post.

Not to start some huge debate, but the problem is the sneaky manner DAATH went about things without asking first and then monetizing the whole connection with vapecrafter. If you saw somebody making money off of your hard work when you gave it away for free, and without even asking if it was ok to fuck you, I think you would be a bit cranky also. It was the vapecrafter link that pushed the matter from just rude to total scumbaggery.
