##Edit 2: AMA is ON for Wednesday Jan 21 @ 5PM EST / 4pm CST / 3PM MST / 2PM PST. I will post a reminder next Tuesday, then will open a new, stickied post a few hours beforehand so you can ask your questions and upvote other questions that are important to you.##
Edit 3: We are doing this, please do not respond to this thread...###
**Edit - 10 yesses in an hour; we will do it. Keep a watch for time & date, or subscribe to this post and I will update it as well.
We mods were approached by someone who claims extensive knowledge about labelling: > I can answer almost any questions related to label substrates, adhesives, printers, applicators, and face sheets.
If you have any interest in this and are willing to participate, reply or upvote and if we get a good response we'll invite the guy on.
Disclaimer: I don't know this person, and he approached us, so I make no promises.
I mostly frequent /r/cigars as that's where I am one of the mods, but I lurk around many other subs. I work for a Label & Tag Manufacturer and I deal with a lot of e-juice manufacturers on a daily basis. I thought I would offer the opportunity to many of you DIYers to ask me anything related to labeling your own products. I don't care if you're making 1 bottle a month, or 5000 bottles a day. I know a lot of tricks and helpful tips and could help with any of your labeling needs.
For reference, below is just a small list of e-juice companies I have worked with.... this week.
- Juice by Numbers
- Zombie Juice
- Ruthless Vapor
- JOJO Vapes
- Heartlandvapes
- Cig Vape Inc
- MadVapes
- Bad Wolf Vape
- Chi-Town Vapes
If for some reason I miss the AMA would it be okay for me to message you with some questions?
Labels, adhesives, LDPE, PET, it's all pretty unnerving about what can or cannot leech into your juice. This is exactly why I'm moving to label free.
Stupid question, but how are people supposed to know what's in the bottle without a label?
Is it just a labeling scheme without using an adhesive sticker?
Yeah, I'd be keen to see it. I'm also in the printing industry so will be interesting to see what you guys are up to - labels aren't really our main gig.
sweet, what kind of printing do you do?
Digital and screen. We do mostly sheet plastics for industrial applications, keypads, electrical membranes, that sort of thing. Also alu and stainless tags/nameplates. I look after the digital stuff, started off in screen though.
Will probably fire some questions your way in the proper AMA :-)
