TFA DX Banana Cream is the shit.

I'm sure a few of you have noticed the DX flavors on TPA's site. They're diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl-free versions of their more-popular diacetyl-containing flavors. I decided to pick up the DX Banana Cream just to see if it was close to the original, as I'd stopped mixing with it because of it's diketone content.

Oh. My. God.

This stuff is delicious. I'm honestly not sure I'd be able to tell the difference in a blind-taste test. If anything, I like it better than the old version. I can't speak for the rest of the DX line, but if they're half as good as banana cream they're probably worth getting.

Imo, Lorann's is a bit more of a candy banana flavor while TPA's is more creamy and a lighter banana.

On their site, the DX line is only available in wholesale / bulk sizes. Some other sites, such as bull city vapor, provide smaller quantities.

After reading this post I ordered DX Banana Cream and DX Bavarian Cream. Both are surprisingly good! No noticeable vomit undertones from the butyric acid (I'm looking at you, CAP V2). I made the fizz nana' cream clone with DX BC in place of my colorless LA BC and it's quite good after shaking. Can anyone comment on steeping these flavors? Is there much change over time?
