Water/Alcohol how many of you use this?
submitted over 10 years ago by HukIt

I'm mixing 80/20 (vg/pg). I'm using vg base with pg flavor. I need to cut some of the favors down and need to keep the the consistency the same. Only way I see to do this is add everclear, water or pg. I don't want to add any more pg then needed.

Any tips would be great.

If you're cutting out flavor you just substitute the amount of flavor with straight PG to keep the same ratio.

Most flavors are PG based, so when you're diluting them, the remaining % of PG you need to add will "cut down" the flavor concentration. dot1ml.com is a good tool where you input your desired results and it will tell you how much volume of each ingredient you need. It'll even tell you if you your flavor percentages will exceed the PG/VG ratio you're going for.
