Been seeing Flavor Erasers popping up in shops to clean out heavy flavors like coffee, mocha, cinnamon etc.
What's in this stuff? Doesn't seem to be any discussions here in /r/DIY_eJuice about them.
Someone in /r/ecr_eu gave me a great tip when I had this problem. Denture tablets. They get rid of even the strongest of flavours.
I Haven't seen these I don't think. Is it to clean containers or something else?
Because you can just vape VG to remove a flavor from a coil. If its a flavoring additive- Magic Mask & MTS Smooth from FA, or Ethyl Maltol, all mute flavors to some degree as a juice additive.
You put three to four drops on your atomizer and let it sit for 30 seconds or so. I'm assuming it's an alcohol but I can't find any information.

I suspect its just alcohol... don't care for it if I can't know what's in it.
I have not used coils in ages but I was curious. The TSV version lists the ingredients as: USP Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Alcohol, and other natural ingredients. I used to rinse my coils in water, soak in PGA overnight, rinse with water again, then let them dry. But hey, if someone wants to pay $6 for less than a shot of PGA who am I to stop them?
The last time I saw someone selling one was like two years ago. Think it was Fuzion Vapor. No clue what was in it but it was meant for the old school dripping atomizers, not rebuildables. Don't see any reason to use it nowadays.
People over in ECR are talking about the Erasers because of the Aspire and Nautilus tanks. Just trying to figure out what's in it without spending money on snake oil.
Alcohol would be my first thought for sure but the Fuzion one I used to have definitely did not smell like alcohol. Didn't smell like anything from what I remember. Could have just been straight PG/VG for all I know. It did work decently though.
You could probably just buy some plain VG and maybe add a little vodka and use that. Not sure if the vodka would stick in the wicks or not though.
I know the Fuzion Vapor stuff says to drop a few drops, wait a few minutes then blow it out. So it sounds like something you don't want to inhale.
As /u/Daztastic pointed out, denture tablets work well, and it's what I used to use to clean my old HH357 attys. But thinking about it more now, makes me wonder a bit. A lot of denture tablets have small amounts of bleach in them (sodium hypochlorite). We don't want to use that crap. It's basically super watered down Clorox. But let's look at the other active ingredients: sodium bicarbonate and citric acid. Ok, awesome. I see where we're going here. We have an acid and an alkaline...this will either clean our shit or make an awesome middle school volcano project.
That Fuzion eraser stuff doesn't really smell like alcohol. I wonder if it's just baking soda, citric acid and distilled water or something like that. Hell...would that even work if you bottled it after all the foamy goodness is over with?
