How do I compensate the flavors for 100% VG? I've read that VG doesn't carry the flavors as well as PG but all of my flavors are 100% PG. Thanks I'm advance!
Just try 80/20 20%flavoring 80%vg. Try it if it needs more flavoring add more flavoring. Needs less use less. Use ejuice me up to scale the percentages.
This is my thought as well. Even if your flavors and nicotine base are 100% VG you should be able to add in PG and with steeping the flavors will come out like they would even if they were all PG based.
I personally aim for an 80/20 mix with VG based nicotine base and PG based flavors. I usually only need to add a very small amount of PG because the flavors are PG base. You will need to add more PG to balance out the VG in your flavors. Just use a ejuice calculator program to get your numbers for you for your desired final ratio.
There's no clear way without testing each individual flavor. For instance some flavors stay the same, some get weaker, and some don't necessarily do either they just kinda have a slightly different profile that you may enjoy differently in max vg vs a pg blend. Unless you've already been mixing with lots of pg and you are going very subtle and light with flavor and now you're going max vg, I wouldn't worry about it at all, just develop recipes to taste as usual.
Your mix will end up being like 5-25% pg anyway with max vg and that's more than enough to disperse the flavor through the vg with some good mixing and cure time. I personally switched to nicotine suspended in pg to get that extra 5% of pg in there plus its easier to work with and supposedly doesn't oxidize as fast as vg nic
You will never get 100% VG juice unless you use VG based flavors. Thats why everyone says "Max VG" instead of "100% VG". I would almost guarantee every juice you've had that was "max VG" was probably something like 80% VG.
If you're asking for allergy purposes, you'll have to buy 100% VG flavorings.
