tl:dr - People are asking me to sell my Carnage clone, but I don't want to sell it because its really nothing special. Here's the recipe, I think its too sour and loses the licorice flavor within a few days, maybe someone else can improve it.
I've gotten a few messages lately from people about my Carnage clone - some wanting to buy it, some curious about the recipe, etc.
I don't feel that it is anywhere near good enough to sell. My main reason for mentioning it in the first place was because it surprised me at how an educated guess and 3 flavors could come relatively close to a highly sought after juice that seems so complex.
Anyway, here's my recipe for those who want to try it out. I don't have any other strawberry flavors to tweak this with, and Im almost positive that this is not the right strawberry, so I'll leave it up to you guys to do with it what you'd like.
Carnage Clone, Version 1
6% TFA Red Licorice
4% TFA Swedish Gummy
1.5% FA Strawberry
My thoughts: shake & vape, smell is almost spot on, its a pretty harsh throat hit for some reason (even at max VG, and I've made this 3 times with the same result), the strawberry is too sour, and the red licorice flavor fades after several days of steeping.
>6% TFA Red Licorice
>4% TFA Swedish Gummy
>1.5% FA Strawberry
I'll give this a try each wtih TFA Strawberry, TFA Strawberry Ripe and CAP Sweet Strawberry later tonight when I get home. I'm thinking 4-5%, unless the strawberry is meant to be more pronounced?
awesome, that should be a good range. between the red licorice and swedish gummy there's already a good amount of sweet red flavors so I don't think too much more strawberry is necessary
I've found that the TFA Swedish Gummy has a huge throat hit, not sure why as it's the only flavor I've found this with.
I've made this about 5 times using CAP sweet strawberry, TFA strawberry ripe, and TFA strawberry. Strawberry Ripe makes it spot on Carnage, mix it at 2%. Enjoy.
