I've been keeping notes for the past few months and thought I should share!
submitted almost 11 years ago by GeoH2102

Hi all,

Big fan of this sub, I've been mixing for about 4 months now and I like to think I'm getting reasonably good at it. My approach is far less scientific than some, but I usually get fairly decent results. As such, I figured I'd share my recipe list! These are all my own flavours, so feel free to give them a go, tweak them, or comment.

They mainly use FlavourArt with the occasional Inawera/Wera Garden flavour.

Let me know what you think!

Not bad! Tracking development over time is something often overlooked in the juice making world.

It's always nice to think "what was that one I made?" and be able to pull out of a notebook/spreadsheet and try it again. I use a paper notebook to track mine, and I've been using an iterative naming system to allow me to track my changes.

Yea, people just don't seem too keen on wanting to record/understand/perfect their juice. They usually just hop on the sub and say "Hurrr, how do I make premium juice?" If you don't take the time to get intimate with every flavor you own, you will never, ever, ever make a premium juice.

OP - You're on the path to success.

Thanks :-) I did it without for a while, but this has really helped me when I come to make new flavours!

Really, I just wanted to share what I've come up with so far. Of someone finds a flavour they like out of my little list then I'll consider it successful!

The link is to my live notes so they'll be updated as I mix new flavours too, probably should have mentioned that earlier...

Thanks! I plan on using my ID system to track iterative changes... But I keep buying new flavours so I've not had chance to use it yet... Oops...

Really, I just wanted to share some of my recipes with the community. I know I've used this place extensively, so I just wanted to give back a little!

I'm expecting a shipment of flavors tomorrow that includes passion fruit and mango, I'll have to try those together. I've been mixing for about 4 months but haven't kept detailed notes. I just add another version value to my recipe on e-liquid-recipes.com. I just recently started taking notes about what flavors my friends like so I can tailor their juice to their liking.

Yeah, this was more to share the recipes than the way I track things, haha.

Passion Fruit and Mango is so sweet and good. I just mixed one with a bit of lime and kiwi to add a refreshing kick to it... Steeping now, we'll see how it goes!

What were the percentages on those two? I don't use many FA anymore so I haven't tried this before. Any other thoughts on it? Steaping time, changes, etc?

I've added the recipe to the sheet - 2% lime Tahity distilled and 0.5% kiwi. I'll update the notes one I've tried it though that's not likely to be for a week or so!
