E-liquid-recipes.com can now hide the single-flavor recipes!
submitted almost 11 years ago by daathMixologist

Small change on e-liquid recipes, but nice enough if you don't want to click on each recipe: There is now a checkbox that filters out all the single flavor recipes.

It works on the main list/search, search by flavor stash and "What can I make"!

I know the UI is getting a bit crowded, and I plan to do ...something... about it at some point ;)

I hope you find it useful!

Yes! Thank you for continually updating and improving the site. I've wanted a tool like this to exist for a while now and it's amazing to see one being built.

I only wish there was more content, but I guess that's up to us :)

You're welcome! And true -content :) I try to add interesting recipes I find to help things out.

I completely understand that you're probably swamped with work on the site, and I among others greatly appreciate how long you've been improving it, really, so I don't ask this lightly at all.. but I'm just wondering if you have any plans to make an app for Android? If not, I'll continue to use the site and love it, but I just know if you ever did make an app it'd probably blow the existing calcs out of the water. ESPECIALLY if you somehow implemented all the recipes, which would be mind blowing in its own right.

I am actually planning an app for both iPhone and Android - And in the near(ish) future too! I know you guys gotta be impatient for that, and I really really want to make it - but it will take some time to do (hopefully not THAT long, but still!)...

I hope you all stick around for when they finally come :)

Hey Daath, you responded to my message about this exact thing. I didn't think you'd implement it so fast! You the man!

Tell me more about flavor stash. Does this mean I can put in all the random shit I have and it spits out a recipe that has been uploaded that I have all the stuff for?

You can do that, yes - That's the "What can I make"-button :)

Bookmarked your site, will be Xposting here from now on, didn't check as I'm tired but wondering if you plan on implementing a search by flavor function in the future. Would love to see that as having a profile that has my flavors on hand and what i can make would be amazing.

If you search for "Strawberry (TPA)" it will find recipes with that - There is also a "Search by flavor stash" which lets you just check off the flavors in your stash and shows you recipes that contain these (but can contain others) - Then there is my "What can I make?"-feature that finds all recipes that you can make with the flavors you have! :)

Has the cost per mix feature been implemented yet?

I've entered all the individual costs for my flavours, PG/VG and nicotine, but I don't see my total cost for each recipe.

Looking forward to that feature. Another feature that would be useful in the future is an 'export recipes' function. I realized a few weeks ago that if your site ever goes down, I'm totally fucked. I guess I could do it all manually, but if users could export their recipes to an Excel file, it would save them a lot of headaches should anything happen.

Thanks for all your hard work on the site. It has become an indispensable tool in my DIY efforts. I will certainly be donating once I get my Christmas bonus. :)

Cost per mix is not implemented yet - but soon - There's not that much more work to be done on that, before I can begin to test a bit! :)

Export (and import) will also arrive eventually! I am fairly certain that it won't go down in the near future ;) But still, I agree - export and import is important!

I'm happy you like it, and use it! :)

This is cool!

Unfortunately all of the results from my stash is a combination of Double RY4 + Smooth :P

Bummer :P Have you checked that you're using the same names for flavors as everyone else? You can check the flavor list to be sure... Myself, I have >386 recipes I can make, and removing single flavor recipes, I can make 251 :)

Yep. I think it's mostly because of my stash size. It's OK though, I've produced quite a few keepers from the dozen or so TFA flavours I have.

Great :) If nothing else, you can at least use the other recipes for inspiration :)
