Price and how do i do this?!
And who did you order through? Nice haul!
I ordered the majority from Pink-Mule.com (ELRECIPES gives you 10%) - and the ones I couldn't find I ordered from FlavourArt.co.uk - They have a special price for 5 flavors (fantastic five I think it was). All in all too much money, around 270 EUR :/ But that was including 250 ml of 36mg nic juice.
Ahhhh, it's beautiful!
I love getting mix mail, it's such a joy to have a good collection of flavors to play with. Not to mention actually having obscure flavors when a certain recipe calls for them! Having the original Flavourart bottles is a huge plus too, they're quite nice!
For anyone trying to build their own mini flavourart army, I highly suggest checking out Eliquidmart or Pure Vapes. I prefer Eliquid mart since you get a whole 2ml's for like .19 cents more. Their default size is also 12ml for usually 2.99, and 5ml for 1.69. I've accumulated about 75 different FA flavors, with minimal expense. Most places are 3 bucks a pop for FA, and that's a bit much when you just want to try stuff out.
Has anyone found a good site for sample sizes of Inawera?
nice! this looks like my order from BCV. now i can finally try some FA stuff. :)
I'm trying to decide which HIC recipe I want to try first :D
Just FIY: the Grand Marnier mousse is really good, I haven't had Grand Marnier in a while so I can't tell how close it really is but it's a good vape.
The Amaretto, I tried it in a mini Fogger that was behaving (as usual...) so don't take my word for it but it had nothing to do with Amaretto and wasn't very good.
Another guy from VU posted a Dr.Pepper recipe, I love Dr.P and I thought it was pretty far from it. A nice vape but not Dr.Pepper imo. Everybody seems to love it so I still suggest you try it for yourself :)
His Spice Apple Cider is definitely my favorite
As someone who recently got a bunch of FA I was hoping you could answer a question for me. What percent do you mix FA at to test? I've seen numbers as low as %1; is it that highly concentrated? TFA I usually mix around %15 for single flavor test batches; is that too high for FA?
Flavour Art is very concentrated. If I know nothing of the flavor, I usually try it at 3-4% or if it's tobacco at 1.5%. But usually you can find a starting percetage somewhere :)
One thing you can try, to see how strong the flavor is - Is to try a flavor you know in a small shot glass of water - just a drop. Then compare to a drop of the new flavor :)
There is also this thread on ECF
I bet you will still be missing flavors to 70% of HIC's recipes LOL. I have ~30 Flavour Arts flavors and think I can make 4-5 of them.
I just input my flavors in my stash on ELR and clicked "What can I make?" - You're almost right: Looks like I can make about 46 of them, out of the 129 there is on ELR :) Damn! I need to get my hands on Organic Ginger from Nature's Flavors - but I can't find it in Europe...
You could always let some actual ginger sit in PG for a week or two, filter & strain, & then attempt mixing! ;D This is something I've actually been wanting to do for a couple of weeks, now.
This might be a stupid question, but where is this feature at on ELR? I've heard about it multiple times but I'm still failing to find it.
Log in, fill your stash with flavors (and use the names everyone else are using - if in doubt check the flavor list) - then the "What can I make?"-button is available from the front page, from "My page" and from your flavor stash at the top! :)
If you want to see recipes that has flavors you don't have, try using the "Search by flavor stash"-feature :)
Got my Organic Ginger straight from Nature's Flavors today. $27 for 120mls. Hopefully it lasts awhile at that price.
I ordered it specifically for the HIC Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe. Now to see what else HIC used it in. :P
