Hey guys,
I thought I'd try posting last week's most viewed recipes on e-liquid-recipes.com.
This is the first time I've done this, so feedback is welcome :)
- 6% Tiger's Blood by Haitianboy420
- Zoochberry Cream by et3rn1ty
- Sucker Punch clone by Menace21
- Mothers Milk by chronje
- Grants Vanilla Custard my way by Ole Frederiksen
- Buttery Nipple by HoneyGram57
- cuttwood sugar bear clone by kqncept
- Unicorn Custard by CreepyLady
- Banana Pudding by Sandy
- Dark Sunset by guanomo of ecig-forum.dk posted by Lars
I'm not going to post numbers, but lets just say that number 1 had just under 1000 views last week.
I'm thinking about posting stuff like this every week, though I might just make a new place on ELR to place stuff like this...
One concern of mine was that posting stuff like this, will skew next weeks statistics, but I guess that is the nature of top lists :)
Happy vaping!
EDIT: If some of you are getting redirected to reddit and finding subreddits like pussyjury, I think it's because of your software... My links are like so: http://e-liquid-recipes.com/r/cEy but your reader thinks it's www.reddit.com/r/cEy because of the /r/cEy I think. I've changed links now, so I am no longer using the short form!
Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
I'm on Mobile. When I click the links on the bottom of the post it brings me to the site fine. But if I click on the blue text links inside the post, zoochberry for example, it brings me to /r/pussyjury. I'm so confused.
Yeah, I'm getting weird links also
Nice, I like this. I'm about to mix a 30ml of about 6 of them on there!
Nice :D Remember to rate them yourself also :)
Will do! I made Tigers Blood, Grants Vanilla, and Sucker Punch. Gunna let em sit for a few days before I give them a go!
Nice! If Grants is anything like my G Vanilla Custardy it needs to steep for at least a week :)
It must just be me, but 8% Banana Ripe sounds like way too much for the Banana Pudding. That stuff should be used sparingly.
Haven't tried it myself, but it does sound high. But some flavors that are usually really strong react differently with different flavors - perhaps the end result is good? :)
I don't DIY, yet, but I like this. Might be better to do monthly?
Maybe see if you can pull a rising list? Such as recipes that are rising in popularity based on reviews but not necessarily those with the most reviews.
Excuse my ignorance, but could someone tell me how the star rating works?
Is it user ratings or is it poster rated?
Can't wait for my flavors to arrive to try some of these.
The ratings you see on the recipe itself is an average on all vores on it. When sorting by rating on the recipe list, it's way more advanced, but it should give a nice picture of ranking.
If you mouse over the stars, you can see how many votes it has (this is on the recipe itself). I guess I'll have to put the number beside the stars in parenthesis, like on the list.
Hope it helps :)
Hi, can you do this again? It's pretty interesting.
I did plan to do these posts regularly - but I've been pretty busy. I even put it on my to-do list :D haha
I'll try to do it again soon!
No worries, I completely understand. I'm just curious what's changed in three months. Thanks for the awesome website too :)
Well to tell you the truth - Those lists don't change that much... People sort by rating so those are going to be on the list a lot :) Still, there are a few changes here and there... I was thinking I'd try something that radio stations do: Bubblers - focus more on new entries on the lists :)
