The general flavor combo that I loved for a while was a banana/green apple/cinnamon/cream. I never ever got the ratios correctly. But it was always oddly exactly what I needed for an ADV for 4 months.
I haven't been posting in any threads of late for DiY. So I figured I would share... My wife loves this to pieces. This is for high VG, for PG leaning mixes. Reduce everything by 1%, except the Bavarian Cream and optional.
Pale Rabbids
- 6% French Vanilla (CAP)
- 5% Toasted Marshmallow (TPA)
- 1% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
- 6% Sweet Coconut Cream [Custom*]
- 3% Super Swirl [Reinforced TFA Vanilla Swirl**]
- [Optional addition***] 2% White Chocolate (NF)
*Sweet Coconut Cream starts out equal parts (TFA) Sweet Cream and (FA) Coconut. Allowed to sit, makes a rich tasty mixing flavor by itself or for part of a larger concoction. Be careful with the FA coconut, most Flavour Art flavors are strong. A little goes a long ways. (Sometimes.. : 2:1 ratio on Sweet Cream to Coconut.) [The FA Coconut is harsh past 4% overall in anything. So keep that in mind.]
**Super Swirl starts out as (TFA) Vanilla Swirl. I add 20% Ethyl Vanillin Powder into the TFA flavor. Let sit for a month, then use as a custom flavor - {addictive} for recipes. (My go to is: quarter tsp per 2ml of Vanilla swirl. Then add another 2 ml of straight PG. VERY VERY strong Vanilla profile! It allows me to cheat the taste buds and use very little flavorant. We are talking drops per ml for a recipe. Which gives huge 'Nilla taste)
*** Adjust as you like.. I have added a bit of Orange to this. Works fantastic. Also did Banana, was nice. I tried a Juicy Peach addition and one person asked for my hand in marriage.. So this could make a really good base for other endeavours. By itself, as the name is close to. This is near White Rabbit. But inspired by and paying homage to, not cloning.
Ill have to order some french vanilla and try this it sounds good.

You could break apart the Sweet cream and coconut. Use parts totalling 7 percent. (Hence why I've combined them to reduce volume.) I've used TFA Coconut Extra before with good results. As for the Vanilla Swirl. TPA works good and does not need the additional Vanilin. Which if you happen to have some, attach it as the optional.
Yes, I have been working on this flavor a long time. I got some optional Irish Cream (CAP) working out now. Sounded nummy good, so I gave it a mix. Should be ready next week for the dripper.
The only thing I didn't like as an optional, was koolada.. While not bad. Cold Cream was not my thing.. The wife said it was ok, but not great.
I'm going to mix up your fortified Vanilla Swirl tonight; always looking for that perfect vanilla explosion! Sounds like you're a vanilla fiend as well, any other vanilla advice? Any other premix recipes you'd care to share?
It's the wife who is a Nilla monger. :) I suggest experiment with Ethyl Vanilin crystals. I find a 1/4 teaspoon works good. 10% is about 1/4tsp dissolved into 10ml of PG.. 20% would be of course scaled to 1/2tsp per 10ml. Even if the PG happens to have flavor in it already... So it makes it easy to supercharge the vanilla flavors you already have and like. Anything past 20% and it makes it not as good. So stick with 10-20%. Most vanilla flavors do well, hanging around 10% reinforcement. Due to the wife wanting a stronger vanilla hit. I upped it to 20% reinforcement.
I do a pretty good apple thing for recipes. I find it difficult to get green apple going in smaller amounts and have that wizz bang. So I developed one.
Greensleeves
- 4 parts Green Apple (FW)
- 2 parts Juicy Peach (TFA)
- 1 part Cotton Candy (TFA)
- 3 parts Green Apple (TFA)
- 4 parts Granny Smith Apple (FE)
Allowed to sit, it makes a great way to use smaller amounts and have a nice full, tangy Green apple flavor. I hardly go past 5% in any recipe.
I like to mix it with grape (I like the lolipop grape flavor of FE) or caramels. Apple watermelon is a nice one, but I have yet to find the best watermelon I like. So a water apple is still in the works.
Thanks much! I've been experimenting with vanillin and ethyl vanillin crystals at 10% in pg, and not entirely happy with my results. I was a bit concerned that I might have been past the diminishing returns point already, and I've bought vendor juice that was more intense, sigh. Your numbers give me hope I can still go up a bit :) I can get the "richness" I'm looking for, but not the strength, at least without sweetening quite a lot. Watching my atomizer resistance creep up, I'd like to back down on the sucrulose, sigh. It is yummy, though!
Fun vanilla fact: vanilla and jasmine are the only scents that are universally popular across cultures. Most scents show huge cultural variation, but everyone likes vanilla.

I've had G Vanilla Custardy II as my ADV for a year.
Before that, my 7 Marlshade III as my ADV tobacco for as long. Some of my friends have used this as their ADV for a LONG time.
