You have to heat steep with caps on?

I have seen a bunch of comments about it. Some say caps off mutes the flavor, other say it helps with the curing/steeping. I leave them on just for protection, in case one happens to fall over. Clumsiness happens and I have lost some good juices due to spilling lol

The heating pan and the little frother ran me up about 20 bucks. Nice little setup for quick ejuice making and steeping. Heating pan Mini mixer/frother

Should I be doing any kind of steeping to all my juice. Ive never steeped anything but maybe i dont know what im missing. Explanation would be great if anyone can help me understand

It's mostly to speed up the aging process. Not necessary and completely optional for sure but sometimes it brings out the best notes in more complex juices.

Nah. Just a DIY mostly. Vendors will have a steeping process before selling.

I just use a pot of water. It really doesn't get any cheaper than that.

I taste it and if it's too strong I let it steep for a few days with the cap off. Shake it while heating it in the water of course. 15 minutes in the hot water is more than enough time to mix everything up.

How's the dark horse? I'm looking at getting one and a black hawk clone.

Doge with the comp cap on a box. That's my daily carry!

You know, I was wondering. Everyone has separate little heating pads, but do you think it would work just as well if I put the bottles on the hot plate of my coffee maker?

I don't see why that wouldn't work, most of the coffee makers keep the coffee just warm enough. I would just use a thermometer/thermocouple to check the temperature and make sure it's nothing crazy over the course of the speed steep.

Good advice. The last thing I need is a spill to clean up if the bottles crack.
