Was wondering if anyone knew of any good wickless coil type builds I can use to test my juice? I hate mixing a juice and tasting it, seeing that it needs to be modified, and then changing the cotton out to try it again. I know that I don't HAVE to change the cotton out, but I've noticed that I get a much better picture of what my juice tastes like if I do, as even burning almost all of the juice out of the cotton will still affect the taste (especially if I'm working with menthol). Just trying to see if anyone had any good builds with twisted coils or something that acts like a wick for small amounts of liquid so you can just drop it in the coils, take a quick hit, and burn the rest of the juice off.
I know it seems old school (December 2013 lol), but I bought an HH357 dripping atomizer from www.avidvaper.net. I use it for testing out mixes, and it is great to get a robust and full-bodied vape. It's a bit pricy, but I find myself using it during mixing sessions, and it helps me dial in flavors. Best thing is that you can clean it out with water, dry it out, load it up, and vape away.

Thanks for the video. Also, what is the HH357? I found it on the website you linked to, but there isn't a good description of how it would help in this situation nor are there any pictures AT ALL except for a picture of a tube. No look at the insides or anything.
You say "during mixing sessions". Do you actually mix a juice, immediately vape it, adjust flavourings, mix again, test again (repeat as needed)? What size batches we talking here, tiny?
I've been mixing 5 or so and waiting a week, and just resigning mysekf to the flavour I ended up with. Is my methodology shit?
I would call my nights when I sit down and make about 4-5 different blends a "session". When I work on a new recipe, I'll do a minimum of 10ml to start with, with no nicotine. Sometimes I'll get it right the first time, but for every 1 good recipe, there's at least 10-12 iterations that weren't satisfactory.
Sometimes I have a recipe that I like, but I'm looking for ways to improve it, so I'll tweak the percentages, and take copious amounts of notes while doing so. Often I can't pick out what the component I need to change is (flavoring, blend, percentage) during the mix session, so I'll just pore over my notes. Sometimes I have good ideas when I get up in the morning, and rather than break out the equipment to start mixing, I'll just make a note; when I sit down, I'll incorporate my notes into my new mix.
If you resign yourself to the end product, and don't do anything to change the end product except wait, then your assumption is correct.
Microcoil, drip straight on. Should hold a couple of drops and hurt like hell when it goes dry.

Micro coil. 1/16th. 12 wraps of 28g will give you around 1.6.
