What do y'all think? I'm unsure if I should add some Bavarian cream or some cheesecake or swap something out for it. Any and all advice is welcomed. Thanks in advanced.
Flavourart makes some great flavors that compliment custards, you should probably check out the following
FA Fresh Cream
FA Vienna Cream
FA Custard
FA Catalan Cream
FA Butterscotch
These flavors standalone aren't very impressive but they'll go amazing with custards, fruits, desserts and pretty much anything you want to add that extra creaminess and richness to.
I second these suggestions. Be aware that FA Custard and Catalan Cream both have a tart/citrus note to them, but they do go well in custard if that's what you're looking for. I also really like 0.5-1% FA Apple Pie with my custard. It adds a spiced crust note without any discernible apple flavor.
I'd swap the whipped cream for bavarian cream, same percentage.
If you want something more custardy, swap to V1 CAP VC and go up to 6-7%. Would be a strong 'vanilla' custard.
I feel that tfa graham cracker clear tastes much better paired with custard than capellas graham cracker does. It doesn't really add a taste more like it sweetens it and gives it body and more richness. Capellas new york cheesecake is a good addition at less than 1%, like 1-0.5%. Anything higher you get a funky smell and it gives a sharpness to the mix that i dont care for. I've also started adding Flavorwest Vanilla custard at 4-7% to my custard mixes too. Its gross on its own and at high percentages but buried in a capellas custard mix it gives it that kind "hmm what is that, that's good" kinda taste that keeps you vaping it
