Flavor rack round 2
submitted almost 11 years ago by BleuXShadoW

Yesterday I decided to start my venture on building a 2nd flavor rack. This time with a place to put nic and vg and such. Got a decent bit done, just one more door to add on and a few more dowels to add. Gonna sand and stain both racks after I finish this one up later today. Here is the progress so far. I put a few bottles scattered throughout to show a lil what it's gonna look like.

Not a great shot of it, but my rack in the background suddenly looks pretty awful :)

That's nice work man.

hey whatever works is a helluva lot better than having them mindlessly scattered about! Looks good!

I never imagined myself saying this in an acceptable way, but - nice rack! I really do like that.

Dude, looks great! How much $ in materials did you spend on that if you don't mind me asking?

Also, are those ball jars holding your PG/VG? How is that working out for you? I'm running into some issues with the sizes of my syringes vs the depth of the PG/VG bottles and was looking for a quick, easy and cheap solution. That could be it.

The first rack was about $140 for everything, including screws and bits and such, so having some stuff already for the second rack helped a lot. This rack cost around $50 in materials, I had some wood left over from the last one, which helped. I was planning on using oak, but if I did it would be about double the price haha. And yea I use the jar for pg, stopped using it for vg, as I use a big ldpe 240ml plastic squeeze bottle. like this . The jars are mostly holding my extracts and stuff now, but yes they do work well enough for pg and vg also

If the price was right I would be down to pre make a rack in wich all you would need to do is screw it together (will be predrilled just like ikea hehe) and glue it if you want that extra bit of strength

Nice to see I'm not the only one that uses those 4 oz canning jars. Looks great!

Thanks! Idk if you can tell or not, but that is a 250ml of your 100mg nic over to the left behind the door, beside the vg. Fantastic stuff, keep up the great work! I'll be getting some more from ya here pretty soon, i'm halfway done with this bottle already. I'll maybe get some of yalls flavors to test out also ;D
