For Drippers: Best / ADV 2-3 Flavor Recipes (Capella / TFA)
submitted almost 11 years ago by bmilcs

What is your favorite recipe containing only 2-3 flavors (Capellla / TFA)? I found this recipe on the forums and having really taken to it. It's so simple, not overpowering but just pleasant - sweet and delicious:

TFA Blueberry Extra 6% TFA Honeysuckle 9% Ethyl Maltol 3%

Looking for simple and tasty recipes that are super tasty.

This was my first recipe I ever tried but I went with 15%. It was delicious but I'm finding I'm sensitive to high %'s.

I'm going to have to make a big bottle of this :)

I have never pushed the percentages higher because it tastes damn good as is. I did try a tester with (i think, notes at home) 1 or 1.5% coconut added. Not a fan.

  • 6% pear (tfa)
  • 5% dragon fruit (tfa)
  • 5% cantaloupe (cap)

Max vg. My closest I've gotten so far to jezebel by seduce juice. It was my adv for the past 2 weeks. 1 week steep time for great flavor.

Sounds very interesting. I only have dragon fruit listed and have no idea what it tastes like. Just ordered 50 10ml test bottles from FT and excitedly await their arrival. Finally going to test each flavor individually ;)

Is there any other recipes you recommend with dragonfruit?

Dragon fruit goes well w a lot of stuff. It is very pineapply but not as tart. There's a great nana cream clone that uses it that is spot on, and I've been using it in many of my recipes since I started messing around with it a few months ago. I've used about 3oz so far if that gives you an idea on how useful it is

I like simple recipes. Why do you ask? Do you have something great with more?

Watermear - I just finished a small bottle of that. I like it. Now I'm vaping Absellon, which I love, but that has a Decadent Vapours flavor :)

Been liking this quite a bit: 7% blueberry wild 1% lemon 1% vanilla 1% EM.

What vanilla do you use? I have french vanilla, vanilla custard. Is that 1% lemon juice?

I use Capella french vanilla v2. I should have specified, lemon meringue v2 by Capella as well. I did add 3 drops of actual lemon juice to the last bottle I made (15ml) and it adds a nice touch.

Why only 2-3 flavors?

Keep it simple. Not everyone needs a 8 flavor recipe, where you can't distinguish any flavours anymore.

I find 2 or 3 flavours to be perfect when they complete each other and are well balanced.
