After leeching recipes off here for a while, I figured it was time I contribute.
Here are two ADVs for me, both mixed 50/50:
###Double Apple Shisha:###
IW Anise - 0.2%
FW Double Apple - 1%
IW Bahraini Apple Gold - 2.5%
IW Apple Shisha - 2%
TFA Koolada - 0.3%
TFA Spearmint - 0.4%
###Strawberry Cream with Anise###
FA Anise - 0.5%
FA Strawberry - 4%
TFA Strawberry - 4%
TFA Sweet Cream - 0.5%
FA Vienna Cream - 1.5%
I vaped both right away, but they got better over the course of a week or so.

Any insight on the differences between the two brands of Anise?
No problem. The IW Anise is my favorite. It's my most recent addition. It's a far richer, fuller flavor and closer to a black liquorice than anything else. I'd compare it to a dutch liquorice, but less salty. For me, it doesn't get much better.
FA Anise is more like a liquorice candy -- fairly mild with a little spice note to it. It's not as full or nearly as rich. Overall, I'd say it's good if you're trying to push an absinthe flavor without wanting an over-powering liquorice note.
On the other end, TFA Absinthe has the same black liquorice note as the FA Anise, but is far spicier.
I love anise and have found that it pairs well with most fruits. I've also been using the IW shisha blends quite a bit lately and can't speak highly enough of them.
Do you have any other good recipes that use IW shisha apple/IW bahrani apple gold? I enjoy the flavors by themselves but have been struggling to find something that the mix well with
do you get any after taste or funky flavor from the shisha flavors ? I have about 5 of them and cant stand any of them. terrible after taste. wondering if you experience the same thing with the apple shisha
Not at all. I find them to have an oilier flavor - - if that makes any sense. I use the punch the most of all of them. I made a mix with just the punch and use it between other juices.
For the most part I use them as a base to build from. The apple is a very sharp and tastes more like the apple peel than anything else.
Which do you have?
That double Apple is on my "buy flavorings for" list. I miss nakhla double Apple and have been thinking of mixing something close enough to fill the void.
