Replicating the smoothness of TVC.
submitted almost 11 years ago by Angry_Wookie

I'm reading up as much as I can prior to placing my first DIY order and the one question that I can't find an answer to is regarding the smoothness of the mix. This is not a flavor question. TVC is a perfect example. The one common item I can pick out among all of his juices is just how smooth they are compared to say a MBV. Any advice on how to accomplish this?

Since you popped in (hi) I've got a noob question for you or others. I vape 3mg juice. What strength of nic should I purchase? I'm confused as the variety of strengths.

60 ml strength, 3% mix in. Soooo, if you have a 60ml bottle, just add 3ml. That will make it 3%.

Quality of base ingredients.

Nic, PG, and VG quality plays a big part in your end result.

This. Our organic VG creates a lot more "mouth feel" than another VG does. I can't tell you why, it just does.

That was my thoughts as well. It must be related to the base that he uses since it is a common profile throughout his juice line. Is there any insight that you or others can offer on which are considered better bases?

Yeah after a while you can taste the base flavor for each vendor.

NIC: NudeNicotine, VapersTek

PG/VG: NudeNicotine, Essentials Depot

Those in my experience have the least flavor (which is what you want) of all the bases I've tried.

High quality nic has made the biggest difference for me. Cheap stuff typically has a very peppery taste that leeches into the flavor of your vape.

I definitely recommend Nude Nicotine. They are some seriously cool dudes and their products are all top notch.

I believe if you email them they'll send you a 15ml sample of their nic.

I also recommend NN Jake's a great guy and has the smoothest nicotine I've experienced

Why go with inferior nicotine? NN is the bees knees.

Flavour enhancers remove these tastes from the bases. No matter how good your base is, it will still have some flavour.

Well, did you try the honey pearry clone recipe in this sub? It's smooth like his, and tastes like HP. So, I think a lot of it has to do with mixing the right % of flavorings, and the right flavorings, together.

No and it looks like it was deleted sadly.

No is got to be here somewhere. I'm on my kindle, but I've seen it in lots of places in this sub

Here is the recipe. I don't use apricot though, and it tastes exactly like HP to me.

6% Pear (TFA) 5% Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 4% Honeydew (TFA) 3% Apricot (LA)
