Vapor Trails NW to disclose French Toast, Kool Beans and Bananaberry Milkshake recipes here
submitted almost 11 years ago by SirTimmyTimbit

>French Toast, Bananaberry Milkshake, and Kool Beans are going away- they can't be duplicated without using flavorings containing acetoin. I will be posting the recipes for them on /r/DIY_Ejuice sometime next week, so be on the lookout for that.

So I guess they've tried to recreate those with acetoin free flavorings and it didn't work out. A few of their flavors, like 1992 and Sasquatch are going to be updated with acetoin free ingredients.

I don't DIY myself, but I'm excited at the prospect of what the talented mixers here are going to do with it!

Can't wait to see what they used for French Toast. That shit was the bomb.

If you're blind enough to not see the blog post where he stated that, I'm sorry. You really do like to be an asshole though, don't you? It comes full circle ya know.

edited to add link

So was there some new news on acetoin that i missed?

I worry more about butyric acid, tastes like rancid butter and has a very bad MSDS for inhalation.

Basic concept: under certain conditions it can contain trace amounts of diacetyl. People in the business of selling ejuice want to avoid any possibility of liability with regards to popcorn lung.

Ive seen all that info before...so this is just a delayed freak out by VTNW? :(

I made my choice months ago, acetoin and such don't really bother me, most of the flavorings contain <1% and seeing that these flavoring are then only a few % in my total mix my exposure is in the .00 territory unless vtnw was dumping like 30% of this stuff in there, im not to worried.

I'm on your side here man. We are exposed to greater amounts of the stuff outside of vaping. Everyone just turned into health nazis after quitting smoking. That's my view.

I don't think it was a delayed reaction. I think they just realized that they were there.

Didn't they release another one of their cancelled flavors a while back? Got a link someone?

A long time ago they released the recipe for Purple Drank but it's still one of their best sellers. Not sure why Matt did that.

I wish. Like I said, it was a long time ago. I just got into DIY a month ago so when I saw it, I just thought "oh, that's awesome of him" and then moved on. :(

Vapor Trails NW is my favorite vendor too.
