List of Capella flavors and their weight
submitted almost 11 years ago by N0CTURN3Mixologist

After seeing /u/sargeant_utestemme's post for TFA flavors by weight, I added all the TFA weights to my Calculator but realized I needed to update my other flavor vendor's info or the ratios would be skewed. Found the MSDS sheets from Capella and decided to put them in a similar format for the benefit of all you fine folks.

Cool! I saved this thread. I have a plan to implement flavor weights. Not sure when though - I'm fairly busy these days :/

I'm actually slowly working on a site that will do this...and a bit more.

Hi, I've been weight mixing for nearly 2 years now and carefully measure all my flavours with calibrated equipment. I was shown this and the weight mixing guide posted. I'm not sure where Capella have plucked these figures from but I have over 50 Capella flavours and most of these figures are way, way out. The SG figures for grape and lemon/lime should give you a clue how ridiculous they are. The SG of all 5 lemon/lime bottles I have (not all from the same vendor, and checked) are under 1.000 (proportionally alcohol based solvent).

I know it's not the easiest option but do yourself a favour and weigh fixed volumes yourselves as these figures simply cannot be trusted.

(Don't read anything into this being my first post here. I don't frequent reddit much but had to create an account after being seeing these daft figures)

They're taken directly from cappella's msds docs. Feel free to create a new post with gravities that you've measured. We all just build this info one by one from all over, so feel free to participate in helping make it better.
