My O.B. clone
submitted almost 11 years ago by DustForVomitMixologist

A while back, someone was asking about a Suicide Bunny O.B. clone. Well...I finally got around to buying a bottle of it and decided to try my hand at cloning it.

This is tasting pretty close, but I would love for someone to try this out and let me know what you think:

  • CAP Vanilla Custard - 10%
  • TFA Dulce de Leche - 3%
  • TFA Coconut - 1%
  • 1 drop Sucralose per 5ml.

I steeped it in the heated ultrasonic cleaner for about 30 minutes, then let it sit, sealed for a week. It's pretty good.

I'm thinking that I may want to lower the dulce de leche to 2% next time.

Another thought I had is to try another batch with 8% Vanilla Custard, 1% dulce de leche and ~4% milkstone. But I'm all out of milkstone, and I need to order a couple of flavors to make more.

Thoughts?

Do you have the most recent recipe for Milkstone? I've looked all over for v2.6. I can't find anything except v1.

Ob is a variation of 4 different creams btw.

Yeah, that's why I was thinking that milkstone would probably work well.

Must have skimped right over that haha.

Also. Try catalan cream. I feel it would give it that zesty taste ob has.

Vanilla custard and dulce de leche is one of my ADVs...never thought to throw in some coconut. Will definitely be mixing this up this weekend.

Sometimes I taste butterscotch and cinnamon, maybe a touch of that would help... just a thought

Coconut candy or coconut extra?

I used just regular "coconut flavor", but I'm sure extra would work as well.

Coconut extra will work if you half the quantity. It's literally double the percentage of flavor compounds in the same volume of solution, you can look it up on their site.
