Vapin' it forward!
submitted almost 11 years ago by wellforthebird

Sorry if this does not belong here, but I thought I would just point out that it would be great if a few other DIYers would go check out r/vaperequests. There are usually people there who are in a rough spot and cannot afford juice. I know that I have been there before and actually still would be there if I hadn't started DIY. I am still pretty broke, but I was able to take on one person to help. There are still many others that could use it, and it doesn't cost us a whole lot to make some extra juice and ship it out. If you just take on one person to help, that is one person that you are keeping from smoking and I know it will mean the world to them. If you have ever been in a tough spot in life, you know how much a small gesture like that can mean. Just a thought. Thanks for reading.

If you can print shipping labels from home it only costs $2.01 to send 60ML of juice. With a bubble pack, extra tape and bottle weight it's about 4 ounces. I try to ship a 60ML pack a week to someone on vaperequests. I just wanted to put it out there it's really cheap to ship from home especially if you use pp to print labels.

I just recently made a post here asking to buy some juice as buying from most retailers had become too expensive. One user, who I don't want to embarrass or anything, looked through my profole and saw that I had a child on the way. He decided to ship me some free juice and it absolutely meant the world to me. When I can afford to get a diy set up, I definitely want to vape it forward too!

I have quite a bit that I could pass along of several flavors I've been working through; if anyone would want to pay shipping, I could send over some to anyone interested. Mostly high vg fruity, savory, and unique blends.

Cactus? Cactus with a touch of key lime is sorta savoryish...

Chai, coffees, tea... I got a few that might fit a savory bill...

That is awesome. Head over to r/vaperequests. I am sure you can find someone who would really appreciate it. I know I saw at least one request for juice come up on my feed today.

This is an excellent idea, not just because i'm poor most the time with bills and such. I think at some point most people have been in a situation where they cannot afford it and they are using vaping to quit smoking and we should as a community encourage and help anyway we can.

As someone who is young, slightly dumb, and still learning life, this kinda stuff makes my day. I just moved to Florida in a place not many people live, and vape shops are scarce, I just got a job but its enough to pay bills. My step dad(who ive gotten closer with in the past two years) sent me a whole vape care package with tools, an ohm reader, kanthal, cotton, flush cutters and over 5 bottles of juice. It made me smile because I hate analogs and it has helped get me through the storm. He sends juice if im ever in need and its mostly diy. I love it.

Thanks for posting this. I haven't heard of this before and just checked it out. I just started DIY and have some extra store bought juices left over that I won't be using. Found a person in need who is down on their luck. Hopefully I will be able to help even slightly and bring some holiday cheer.

Just wanted to thank you for letting us know.
