I got my order from Nude Nic in today and decided to give it a whirl. I made a 10ml bottle of Nude Nic's Banana Cream Pie and it tastes great! I mae a 93% vg mix and gave it a hot water bath for about an hour and I'm loving it. My only question is what about the residual vg, flavor etc in the needle of the syringe? If I measure up to the .6ml line on the syringe will I actually have slightly more than .6 because of any liquid that may be in the needle? All that aside I can't wait to get the rest of my flavors in from BCV and start mixing up some interesting mixes.
The liquid in the needle is not expelled with a single plunge. Measure up to exactly the .6 mark and you have exactly .6ml when you push the plunger forward. Expel the rest of the liquid into a 'waste' container.
Hey it's you again! I thought as much but I wasn't 100% sure. While you're here I've got another question, do you use 14g blunt tipped needles to draw the vg or do you just use the syringe no needle attached? It's way easier without the needle but I'm not sure if that's the "wrong" way to d it.
you dont need the needle if no needle works. needle is more for reach or going through small openings
Another method that I use is as follows :
Suck up a little air in the syringe. Now suck up liquid until it's a measured amount more than you need ( if you need 5 ml fill the syringe to 6ml). Now dispense until you have a reading of 1 ml of liquid left in the syringe. You have just dispensed 5ml of liquid.
I prefer this method. Some don't. If you always use a new syringe or the same one every time with an individual flavor, you can put the "waste" back in your supply bottle. Some will say not to. I am cautious and use a unique syringe for each flavor and never touch the tip to anything bit the flavor so there is not contamination going on.
What other flavors did u get? And have u tried them yet....if so how do u like them
I'm a fan of their lemon mint and patchouli vanilla flavors. I have a few more, but I've been giving them some curing time.
