Was browsing the Open Source Vapor store, and I noticed that they disclose they add saline to their flavors to make the flavors pop and to thin the liquid a little. They use no PG at all. It states that they use inhalation grade saline like that used in nebulizers, but I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts on that. Has anyone ever used saline in their flavors? If so, what were your results?
EDIT: neutralizers is not what I meant, because auto-correct makes a fool out of us.
We (Open Source Vapor) will be either discontinuing the saline or making it a checkbox-style option in the near future - it seems to improve the vape in the short term, but I am finding that the hit to coil life makes it perform more poorly in the long run.
Oh wow, that's interesting. Does the salinity cause the coil to oxidize more quickly? Thanks for the response.
