What do you use to label your DIY Juice?
submitted almost 11 years ago by Givemeallyourcats

I'm curious about the hardware/items you guys use to label your juices. Not that it's necessary but I would love to have a full color print with text on my juice bottles just for the fun of it. Anyone know the most easy way (and cheap is always good) to do this?

I was thinking about just using my printer and use see through tape. But there might be better ways to do this (programmable labelers for example).

Any thoughts?

Sharpie right on the bottle. Not a big deal since I don't make any for anyone but me. I label the name, date and nic level.

A piece of scotch tape over it keeps it from rubbing off easily!

plain old avery printer labels that i write on with sharpie.

they also make a waterproof one, but it was like double the cost and i'm cheap.

I use avery labels with their free design software for all of my test batches.

Higher end production labels from www.onlinelabels.com.

3" x 1.5" $99 for 1400 waterproof.

Can use color, can use inkjet or laserjet.

Just be aware, depending on the labels, some inkjets won't be precise enough to feed them through properly.

duct tape and sharpie, peel it off when you're done with the bottle and stick it in a notebook ;)

I use the aver labels as well. I cover them with scotch tape, and it protects from most juice incidents.

I've just been using stock pictures... Now I gotta cone up with a logo :)

I use small Avery labels, free Avery designer, and scotch tape over them. If you get small enough ones (4 labels across on a sheet) you can still see your liquid level :)

I use the wash away labels made to put on mason jars for canning. That and a sharpie.

I cut up post it notes and scotch tape it to the bottle. I don't sell my juice to anyone besides friends, they don't seem to mind.

Just got a book of Moo 22m square stickers. I created two types, one with a logo and name and the one on the back with spots for PG/VG ratio, nicotine level and name. Then just get a sharpie and fill it in.

The bonus seems to be that with a tiny bit of metho the sharpie wipes clean and you can go again.

Paid $10 or so AuD for 90 stickers or 45 bottles

I used a brother PT2730. Love it the label doesn't come off and survives a hot water bath as well if you use the lamented labels(most are). The tape is pretty expensive - however I use it for other things for work/home as well so in my case the expense is justified.

The editor lets you do all sorts of things inside it. Before this I was labeling with address labels and a laser printer. Worked pretty good - labels didn't hold up well though.
